Reinforcement of Prefabricated Panel Red Brick Wall Houses

Quản trị 19 tháng 9, 2026

Reinforcement of prefabricated panel red brick wall houses can be achieved through methods such as wall removal and beam replacement, red brick wall crack treatment, overall reinforcement of prefabricated panels, and support reinforcement. Details are as follows:

Wall Removal and Beam Replacement Reinforcement

For prefabricated floor slab houses from the 1990s, if the wall structure is unreasonable and requires modification, wall removal and beam replacement reinforcement can be adopted. First, provide temporary supports on both sides of the wall to ensure structural stability during removal. Then, chisel out the opening at the beam location to prepare for subsequent formwork erection. Finally, carry out formwork erection work to construct a new load-bearing structure, change the original force system, and enhance the overall stability of the house.

Red Brick Wall Crack Reinforcement

  • Crack Repair: For small cracks, first clean the surface around the cracks, remove debris and dust, and fill them flat with cement mortar or putty. After drying, sand and polish to restore the appearance of the wall. For deeper and larger cracks, use materials such as cement mortar or epoxy resin for repair to ensure dense filling inside the cracks and prevent further development of the cracks.
  • Support Reinforcement: For larger cracks, use support tools such as steel plates and carbon fiber cloth. First, repair the cracks, then insert the steel plates or carbon fiber cloth into the cracks and fix them with expansion screws or adhesives. If necessary, install additional support structures such as steel frames or steel bars on both sides of the cracks to enhance the local load-bearing capacity of the wall.
  • Grouting Reinforcement: Inject cement mortar or chemical agents into the interior of the red brick wall to improve the load-bearing capacity and shear strength of the wall and prevent further expansion of the cracks. During construction, first clean the cracks, insert grouting nozzles, inject materials, and control the pressure and flow rate to ensure the grouting effect.
  • External Reinforcement: Add a layer of reinforcement material, such as steel mesh or glass fiber cloth, on the surface of the red brick wall. First, lay the reinforcement material on the wall surface as required and fix it with adhesive to improve the overall integrity and shear strength of the wall and enhance its ability to resist external force damage.

Overall Reinforcement of Prefabricated Panels

  • Pouring Composite Layers: Pour a layer of reinforced concrete 'composite layer' on top of the prefabricated panels. First, clean the dust on the surface of the prefabricated panels, lay a steel mesh with a diameter of 6 mm (with a spacing of 20 cm square), and then pour fine aggregate concrete with a grade not lower than C25, with a thickness usually ranging from 5 to 8 cm, to improve the overall stiffness of the roof and enhance the load-bearing capacity of the prefabricated panels.
  • Adding Double-Skin Walls: Add 'reinforced concrete double-skin walls' on the inner and outer sides of the walls to enhance the load-bearing capacity of the walls and improve the overall structural performance of the house.

Support Reinforcement

  • Using Brick or Concrete for Support: Add brick or concrete structures below the prefabricated panels to enhance their load-bearing capacity. However, this method may occupy more space and involve more complex construction, so it should be selected with caution according to the actual situation of the house.
  • Using Steel for Support: Install steel support structures at the bottom of the prefabricated panels to improve their stability through the high strength of the steel. The construction is relatively simple and can make better use of space, making it a more practical reinforcement method.
