Prefabricated Panel House Technology
Prefabricated panel house technology mainly includes traditional prefabricated panel production technology and modular construction technology, and prefabricated panel houses have specific structural types and characteristics.

Traditional prefabricated panel production technology: There are two common methods. One is to nail a hollow mold with wooden planks, lay steel bars in the hollow part of the mold, fill it with cement, and then knock off the wooden planks after it dries to obtain the prefabricated panel. This method is relatively simple to operate, but the number of uses of the wooden mold is limited, and the long drying time of the cement during the production process affects the production efficiency. The other method is to use steel plates to form a mold. First, a release agent is sprayed, and then distribution bars, a thin concrete layer, and large foam boards (connected and fixed with iron hooks) are laid in sequence. Next, a steel bar framework is laid, steel strands are inserted and tightened using the "pre-tensioning method", and then a second layer of concrete is poured. A vibrating rod is used to remove air bubbles, steam curing is carried out, and finally, the panel is lifted and excess steel bars are cut to complete the production. This technology is relatively complex, but the produced prefabricated panels are of higher quality, with better strength and stability, and the steel plate molds can be reused, improving production efficiency.
Modular construction technology: The building is disassembled into independent modules, which are manufactured in a factory and then transported to the construction site for assembly. The ceilings, walls, and waterproof layers of bathrooms in the house are all prefabricated on the factory assembly line, using parallel operations, automated three-dimensional warehouses, and intelligent production lines. Compared with traditional building construction, this technology can significantly shorten the construction period by more than 60%. At the same time, factory production can better ensure the quality and precision of building components and reduce noise and dust pollution at the construction site.
Structural types and characteristics of prefabricated panel houses: Prefabricated panel houses are built with prefabricated panels as the main components. The prefabricated panels are divided into solid and hollow types. The hollow structure achieves lightweighting by reducing the non-load-bearing concrete, reducing the overall weight of the building. However, existing prefabricated panel houses generally have some problems, such as weak earthquake resistance, which makes them vulnerable to damage in the event of natural disasters like earthquakes; poor sound insulation and heat insulation, which affects living comfort; and a relatively short service life of about 30 - 50 years, requiring regular maintenance and updates.
