Reinforcement Technology for Prefabricated Panel Houses
The reinforcement technology for prefabricated panel houses mainly includes the following methods:

1. Grouting Reinforcement Method
By injecting cement-based or chemical grouting materials into walls or foundations, pores and cracks are filled, enhancing the overall structural strength and stability. This method effectively improves foundation bearing capacity, reduces settlement risks, and enhances seismic performance, preventing wall deformation or cracking. During construction, appropriate grouting materials should be selected based on geological conditions, and grouting pressure and depth should be controlled.
2. Steel Mesh Reinforcement Method
A steel mesh is laid on the surface of walls or floors, and concrete is sprayed to form a composite structural layer. The steel mesh significantly enhances the overall structural stiffness by improving tensile properties, making it particularly suitable for seismic reinforcement. During construction, reliable connections between the steel mesh and the original structure must be ensured to avoid hollowing or detachment.
3. Steel Plate Bonding Reinforcement Method
For walls or floors with severe cracks or deformation, structural adhesive is used to bond steel plates for local reinforcement. The steel plates share the load, improving the structural bearing capacity, and are suitable for emergency repairs or situations with insufficient local strength. During construction, the bonding surface between the steel plate and the original structure must be strictly treated to ensure a uniform adhesive layer without bubbles.
4. Foundation Reinforcement Technology
Measures such as increasing the foundation base area, deepening the foundation, or adding steel mesh are taken to directly enhance foundation bearing capacity. Additionally, reinforcing agents or sealing materials can be injected to improve foundation impermeability and seismic performance. This method is suitable for areas with foundation settlement or soft soil and requires designing a reinforcement plan based on geological survey results.
5. Additional Support Reinforcement Method
By adding steel supports or concrete columns, structural loads are dispersed, and deformation is restricted. The support system must be reliably connected to the original structure to form an overall load-bearing system. This method is commonly used in scenarios with insufficient roof or wall stability, and care must be taken during construction to avoid secondary damage to the original structure.
6. Panel Bottom Reinforcement Technology
When the load increase is small, carbon fiber cloth can be bonded to the bottom of hollow panels to enhance bearing capacity using its high tensile strength; if the load increase is large, steel beams need to be added to change the load transfer path. During construction, sufficient bonding between the carbon fiber cloth or steel beams and the panel bottom must be ensured to avoid peeling failure.
7. Rebar Planting and Grouting Treatment
Rebar is drilled and planted at key positions on exterior walls, and high-strength grouting material is injected to form anchor nodes. This method significantly improves wall tensile strength and is suitable for areas with weak connections or cracking. During construction, the depth and spacing of planted rebar must be controlled to ensure the anchor force meets design requirements.
8. Additional Constructional Columns
240mm×240mm concrete constructional columns are added at the corners of houses, with No. 6 and No. 8 rebar configured and tied inside. The column tops are reliably connected to the floors. Constructional columns enhance overall seismic performance by restraining wall deformation and are particularly suitable for brick-concrete structure houses.
9. Panel Joint Treatment Technology
After removing the original filling material from panel joints, No. 6 threaded rebar is implanted, and C30 fine aggregate concrete is poured to form a rigid connection. This method eliminates weak links in panel joints and prevents crack propagation. During construction, the concrete compactness and rebar anchor length must be ensured.
