The Entire Process of Reinforcing Prefabricated Panel Houses

Quản trị 19 tháng 9, 2026

The entire process of reinforcing prefabricated panel houses includes steps such as structural safety assessment, demolition and preparation work, panel joint treatment, adding structural columns, demolition construction, implementation of reinforcement methods, technical guidance, and acceptance inspection. Details are as follows:

Structural Safety Assessment: Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the old house, focusing on inspecting the crack width at the production sites of the prefabricated panels. Special treatment is required if the width exceeds 0.3 millimeters. Check the connection status between the prefabricated panels and the ring beams, and replace the bolts if the rust rate exceeds 30%. Through the assessment, determine the extent of damage to the house and the reinforcement needs to provide a basis for subsequent construction.

Demolition and Preparation Work: Remove the original wooden roof (if any) and recast a concrete roof to ensure waterproofing, structural durability, and stability, while also meeting the requirements for laying various roofing materials after renovation. Remove the original exterior wall tiles, repaint the exterior walls, and perform steel bar planting and grouting to strengthen the load-bearing capacity and tensile properties of the original walls. Set up a temporary support system by placing steel pipe supports every 1.2 meters along the length of the prefabricated panels. Use H-shaped steel beams to replace the steel beams at key nodes, with the steel beam cross-section being no less than 200*200 millimeters, to ensure structural safety during construction.

Panel Joint Treatment: At the panel joint positions detected during the structural inspection, remove the original filling materials, implant No. 6 threaded steel bars, and pour C30 fine aggregate concrete to enhance the connection strength of the panel joints and improve the overall integrity of the house.

Adding Structural Columns: Add structural columns at the four corners of the house. The cross-section of the structural columns is generally 240*240 millimeters, with No. 6 and No. 8 steel bars used for reinforcement and connected to the floor slabs to enhance the seismic performance and structural stability of the house.

Demolition Construction: Adopt the principle of starting from the middle and then moving to the sides for segmented demolition and cutting, maintaining symmetrical demolition. The daily demolition volume should not exceed 30% of the total floor area. Monitor the stress changes in the support system in real-time during demolition. It is prohibited to use heavy hammer impact demolition to avoid shock and damage to the foundation structure.

Implementation of Reinforcement Methods: Select appropriate reinforcement methods according to the actual situation of the house, such as using I-beams as crossbeams, adding a layer of concrete on the prefabricated panels, adding beams under the panels, and grouting through holes in the roof to enhance the structural load-bearing capacity of the house.

Technical Guidance and Acceptance Inspection: Designers provide technical guidance to the construction team and cooperate with the owner in acceptance work at each stage to ensure the scientificity and safety of the construction during the civil engineering phase.
