Prefabricated Panel Ceiling for Houses

Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026

For the prefabricated panel ceiling of houses, it is essential to focus on drilling specifications, the adaptability of integrated ceilings, and solutions for ceiling surface issues, as detailed below:

I. Drilling Specifications and Safety Control
Drilling in prefabricated panel ceilings must strictly adhere to specifications: Random drilling is strictly prohibited. If drilling is necessary, prioritize drilling along the direction of the prefabricated panels to ensure that internal prestressed reinforcement bars are not cut. If vertical drilling is required, assess the distribution of reinforcement bars and avoid cutting more than two bars, as this can significantly weaken the structural load-bearing capacity. Drilling positions should avoid hollow areas (which cannot be secured) and ribbed sections (which may damage reinforcement bars or compromise the concrete grip). It is recommended to determine the positions of reinforcement bars through professional testing before construction. Additionally, the number of drill holes must be strictly controlled, as excessive holes can reduce the overall stability of the prefabricated panels and increase the risk of collapse.

II. Adaptability Design of Integrated Ceilings

  1. Balcony Scenarios: Assess the load-bearing capacity of the balcony in advance and refer to design specifications to confirm the safe load range, preventing structural deformation caused by overweight ceiling materials, lighting fixtures, and other accessories. Consider ventilation needs to avoid airflow obstruction due to ceiling enclosure. For material selection, prioritize lightweight and sturdy aluminum panels or PVC panels, ensuring harmony with the home decor style. During installation, use hooks and lifting equipment; scaffolding or large machinery is often required, leading to extended timelines and increased costs. Additionally, the surface of the prefabricated panels must undergo anti-rust and anti-crack coating treatments, increasing construction difficulty and quality control requirements.
  2. Bedroom Scenarios (Hollow Cement Prefabricated Panels): The ceiling must be fixed to the concrete frame rather than directly installed on the surface of the prefabricated panels, as uneven force distribution can easily lead to cracks and shorten the service life. Strictly calculate the weight of ceiling materials and accessories; the load-bearing capacity of a single prefabricated panel generally does not exceed 120kg, as overweight can cause structural damage.

III. Solutions for Ceiling Surface Height Differences
After removing the original ceiling in prefabricated panel houses, height differences often appear on the ceiling surface. Traditional repair methods, such as cement leveling, are prone to cracking due to shrinkage. It is recommended to use 5-8 cm thick gypsum board ceilings to directly cover the ceiling surface, which can flatten the surface and reduce the load with lightweight materials. In design, combine a mainless lighting layout or install ceiling lights to enhance space aesthetics and practicality. This solution offers a short construction period, controllable costs, and effectively avoids the risk of cracking in the later stages.
