Prefabricated Molds for House Walls
Prefabricated molds for house walls are specialized mold systems used in construction engineering for the mass production of standardized concrete components. Based on their functions and design features, they can be classified into three categories: cement house molds, prefabricated component templates, and cement house steel molds.

Cement House Molds
Cement house molds have evolved from traditional large steel templates used in construction and are primarily used for factory-prefabricated integral concrete houses. Their core components include mold liners, exterior wall molds, bases, and slide rails, with a self-weight exceeding 20 tons. By opening and closing the molds to form a casting cavity and combining with steam curing processes, the hardening of concrete can be accelerated, significantly reducing hardening time. The molds can be reused for approximately 5-8 years and are suitable for producing components with wall thicknesses of 14-17 cm and slab thicknesses of 10-13 cm. Their advantage lies in the ability to prefabricate components centrally, reducing on-site construction processes and thereby shortening the overall construction period.
Prefabricated Component Templates
Prefabricated component templates focus on the mass production of standardized concrete components, such as prefabricated shear walls and infill walls. Their design must adhere to three major criteria:
- Demolding Convenience: The mold structure should simplify the demolding process to avoid damaging the components;
- Dimensional Accuracy: The mold processing error must be controlled to the millimeter level to ensure consistency in component dimensions;
- Mold Strength: It must withstand the lateral pressure and vibration loads during concrete pouring to prevent deformation. Current improvement directions include mold design standardization (unifying specifications to reduce manufacturing costs), material and welding optimization (using high-strength steel or lightweight alloys), and rust prevention treatments (to extend mold service life).
Cement House Steel Molds
Cement house steel molds are processed from Q235 low-carbon steel and can precisely cast integral cement house components such as walls, roofs, and columns. Their design features a modular assembly structure, with a single set of molds capable of being assembled into common sizes such as 3m×6m and 4m×8m, with an assembly accuracy of ±0.5mm, meeting high-precision construction requirements. A single set of steel molds can be reused 300-500 times, with long-term usage costs significantly lower than those of traditional wooden molds. Additionally, the molds are easy to disassemble and assemble, with the production cycle for a single cement house controlled within 1-2 days, reducing the construction period by 60% compared to traditional methods, making them suitable for large-scale industrial production.
All three types of molds achieve efficient and precise production of concrete components through standardized design, high-strength materials, and modular structures, providing critical technical support for the industrialization of construction engineering.
