Prefabricated Modular House Construction Process
The prefabricated modular house construction process mainly includes four stages: foundation treatment, module manufacturing and transportation, on-site assembly, and subsequent procedures.

Foundation treatment is a fundamental step in construction. Workers first clear and level the building site, then cover the soil surface with polypropylene film to isolate moisture and prevent adverse effects on subsequent construction and the house structure. Subsequently, concrete is poured into the foundation pit using a conveying pump to create a solid and stable foundation for the house, ensuring it can bear the weight of the superstructure and various external forces.
During the module manufacturing and transportation stage, the building is scientifically disassembled into individual modules, such as ceilings, floors, and walls. These modules are prefabricated in the factory, involving key processes like steel bar binding and concrete vibration. Steel bar binding enhances the strength and stability of the modules, while concrete vibration makes the concrete more compact, improving module quality. After manufacturing, the modules are transported to the construction site, ensuring they are not damaged during transportation to guarantee smooth subsequent assembly.
The on-site assembly process is relatively complex. First, cement piers are installed as foundation supports and precisely fixed to the planned area using a crane, providing stable support points for subsequent module installation. Then, the prefabricated modules are assembled, with gaps and holes filled to ensure tight connections between modules, preventing issues like water leakage and air infiltration. Installing ground beams strengthens the structural integrity and distributes the weight, making the overall house structure more stable. Laying foam boards improves insulation, providing a comfortable indoor environment for occupants, followed by pouring the first-floor ground. Additionally, operations such as wall corner module insertion, integrated formation of structural columns and walls, and light steel foam roof formwork further complete the house structure.
Subsequent procedures are carried out after the main structure is completed, mainly including exterior wall plastering and home renovation. Exterior wall plastering protects the walls, enhancing their durability and aesthetics. Home renovation involves personalized design and decoration of the house interior according to the occupants' needs and preferences, making the house habitable. The entire prefabricated modular house construction process combines factory prefabrication with rapid on-site assembly, significantly shortening the construction period by over 60% compared to traditional methods, while also reducing labor costs and on-site pollution.
