Prefabricated House with Base Plate
Prefabricated houses with base plates mainly come in two types: prefabricated ribbed base plate concrete composite floor slabs and steel bar truss floor decks.

Prefabricated ribbed base plate concrete composite floor slabs: This is a building standard design atlas (Xiang 2021 G301) approved and issued by the Hunan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, which has been officially implemented since April 1, 2021. It is mainly suitable for floor slabs and roof slabs in areas with seismic fortification intensities ranging from 6 to 8 degrees. The prefabricated prestressed concrete ribbed base plate of this composite floor slab is made using the pre-tensioning process, which ensures high strength and stability of the base plate. The slab ribs come in various forms, including rectangular, T-shaped, or wedge-shaped, and these different forms can be selected according to specific architectural needs and design requirements. The span range of the composite slabs is between 3 and 9 meters, meeting the needs of different architectural spaces. The thickness of the post-cast layer is not less than 1.3 times that of the prefabricated base plate, a design requirement that ensures the overall integrity and stability of the composite floor slab under load, improving its load-bearing capacity and durability.
Steel bar truss floor decks: In the field of exported prefabricated houses, steel bar truss floor decks have garnered significant attention. Their notable feature is a continuous slab bottom, which enables them to meet the demands of large-span support. In the realm of exported prefabricated integral houses, where the construction of large-span spaces is often required, steel bar truss floor decks are prioritized due to their unique advantages. They can effectively disperse and transfer loads, ensuring the stability and safety of the house structure. Additionally, the construction of steel bar truss floor decks is relatively simple, enhancing construction efficiency and shortening the construction period. This is particularly crucial for exported prefabricated houses, as rapid and efficient construction can reduce construction costs and improve economic benefits.
