Transportation Requirements for Prefabricated Houses

Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026

Transportation requirements for prefabricated houses cover multiple aspects, including vehicle selection, loading, route planning, process monitoring, unloading, and transportation safety.

Vehicle Selection: Appropriate vehicles should be selected based on the size, weight, and shape of the prefabricated components. For large and heavy components, such as concrete walls and large steel beams, flatbed trailers or large trucks should be used to ensure that the vehicle's carrying capacity meets the weight requirements of the components. For small and lightweight components, such as doors, windows, and small decorative parts, small trucks or vans can be used for transportation.

Loading Requirements: The placement and method of arranging prefabricated components on the vehicle should be carefully planned. Components should be properly isolated and secured to prevent damage from collisions and friction. Fragile glass doors and windows should be wrapped with specialized packaging materials, and buffer materials such as foam boards and rubber pads should be placed between components. Additionally, ropes and steel straps should be used to firmly secure the components to the vehicle to prevent movement and displacement during transportation.

Route Planning: Prior to transportation, information about road conditions, bridge carrying capacities, height and width restrictions, etc., should be gathered. Choose routes with good road conditions and low traffic volume, avoiding sections with many sharp turns, steep slopes, or road construction. Furthermore, consider the transportation time and try to avoid peak traffic hours to ensure the safety and efficiency of transportation.

Process Monitoring: Arrange for dedicated personnel to monitor the vehicle and components in real-time, using methods such as installing GPS positioning systems to promptly grasp the vehicle's location and status. In case of severe weather conditions, such as heavy rain, strong winds, or heavy snow, take appropriate protective measures in a timely manner, such as covering the components or choosing safe locations to park and wait for the weather to improve.

Unloading Requirements: Upon arrival at the destination, unload the components in the correct order and method to avoid damage during the unloading process.

Transportation Safety: Before transportation, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle to ensure that the braking system, tires, lights, and other equipment are functioning properly. During transportation, drivers should strictly abide by traffic rules, control their speed, and avoid sudden braking or sharp turns to prevent damage to the house due to inertia. Additionally, an emergency plan should be formulated to respond to unexpected situations, such as traffic accidents or severe weather conditions.
