Detailed Explanation of the Installation Process for Prefabricated Houses

Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026

The installation process for prefabricated houses mainly includes foundation treatment, installation of foundation piles and splicing of crossbeams, backfilling of soil and pouring of the foundation, production of prefabricated components, and construction procedures for standard floors, among other steps.

Foundation Treatment: First, the foundation must be leveled to ensure that the ground flatness meets the requirements. In a rural case in South Korea, foundation pits approximately 60 centimeters deep are excavated, followed by the laying of white plastic sheeting to prevent moisture loss during subsequent concrete pouring. After that, concrete is poured, and it is noteworthy that no steel reinforcement is used in this foundation.

Installation of Foundation Piles and Splicing of Crossbeams: After the concrete has set, sole plates are installed. A drill is used to create holes at the corresponding positions, and the sole plates are firmly fixed with expansion screws, serving to secure the foundation piles to the bedding layer. Next, a mobile crane is used to install prefabricated foundation piles weighing about 5 tons, with holes reserved at the four corners for easy lifting operations. Once the foundation piles are in place, crossbeams are installed like building blocks, with horizontal measurements taken during the installation process to ensure that the crossbeams are level. After adjustment, they are fixed with nuts. To ensure airtightness, the gaps between the crossbeams and foundation piles are filled with expanding foam, and the areas where the nuts are fixed are sealed with cement.

Backfilling of Soil and Pouring of the Foundation: After the entire foundation frame structure is completed, backfilling of soil begins to further stabilize the foundation structure.

Production of Prefabricated Components (Factory Process): This step is completed in the factory. Steel formwork is made according to the detailed design drawings of the prefabricated components. For prefabricated exterior wall panels, a reverse-forming process is used to lay tiles on the steel formwork, while other components do not require this step. After that, steel reinforcement is bound, and various embedded parts such as lifting lugs, steel bar connectors, and threaded sleeves are installed. Then, concrete is poured, and after pouring, curing is carried out. After the concrete reaches a certain strength, the formwork is removed. After formwork removal, the gaps between the tiles are treated, and component numbers and other marks are printed.

Construction Procedures for Standard Floors (Taking the Installation of Prefabricated Bay Windows and Balconies as Examples): First, setting-out and positioning are carried out to determine the installation positions. Then, wall and column steel reinforcement binding and aluminum formwork sealing are performed, along with floor slab bottom steel reinforcement binding and reservation and embedding of water and electricity pipelines. After that, floor slab concrete is poured, and the cast-in-place floor surface is finely leveled, incorporating networking technology. Finally, the installation of prefabricated balconies is carried out, and the installation process also includes steps such as floor slab bottom steel reinforcement binding, reservation and embedding of water and electricity pipelines, floor slab concrete pouring, and fine leveling of the cast-in-place floor surface.
