Prefabricated House Installation Process

Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026

The installation process of prefabricated houses varies depending on the type, mainly divided into two categories: prefabricated assembled buildings and the installation of prefabricated concrete components. The specific installation processes are as follows:

Prefabricated Assembled Buildings

Taking prefabricated bay windows and balconies as examples, their installation processes involve multiple standard floor construction procedures.

  • Prefabricated Bay Window Installation: First, conduct line setting and positioning to determine the precise location of the bay window. Then, proceed with the binding of wall and column reinforcement bars and the sealing of aluminum formwork to provide a stable support and formwork for subsequent construction. Next, bind the reinforcement bars at the bottom of the floor slab to enhance its structural strength. After that, reserve and embed water and electricity pipelines to meet the house's water and electricity needs. Then, pour concrete for the floor slab to shape it. Finally, perform fine leveling of the cast-in-place floor surface to ensure its flatness.
  • Prefabricated Balcony Installation: Some procedures are the same as those for prefabricated bay windows, including the binding of reinforcement bars at the bottom of the floor slab, the reservation and embedding of water and electricity pipelines, the pouring of concrete for the floor slab, and the fine leveling of the cast-in-place floor surface. These procedures ensure a stable connection between the balcony and the floor slab and normal usage functions.

Installation of Prefabricated Concrete Components

  • Prefabricated Column Installation: Install in the order of foot columns, side columns, and central columns. During installation, use the axis and outer contour lines as control lines. For side columns and corner columns, the outer contour lines should be used as the control standard to ensure accurate positioning and verticality of the columns.
  • Prefabricated Shear Wall Installation: Follow the principle of installing the exterior walls first and the plates connected to the cast-in-place parts first. Use the axis and contour lines as control lines, with double control for the exterior walls using both the axis and contour lines. If the wall panels require compartmentalized grouting, use bedding mortar for compartmentalization. When using grouting materials for multi-story shear walls, lay them evenly with a thickness not exceeding 20mm to ensure the connection quality and overall stability of the wall panels.
  • Prefabricated Beam, Composite Slab, and Composite Beam Installation: Install the main beams first, followed by the secondary beams, following the principle of low to high. After the composite slabs are hoisted, check the height difference and width of the bottom joints of the slabs. If the height difference does not meet the requirements, re-hoist and adjust using adjustable supports. Temporary supports should not be removed until the strength of the post-poured concrete reaches the design requirements to ensure structural safety.
