Prefabricated House Grouting Process
The prefabricated house grouting process mainly includes the following steps:

1. Floor surface pretreatment
Before grouting, the floor surface must be thoroughly cleaned to ensure there are no residues of crushed stone, laitance, dust, oil, or release agents. After cleaning, the floor surface should be fully moistened 24 hours in advance to prevent excessive water absorption by the base layer during grouting, which could affect the strength development of the grout. One hour before grouting, surface water should be absorbed to maintain a moist but water-free state, creating suitable interface conditions for the grouting operation.
2. Grout preparation and mixing
The mix ratio should be carried out according to the product instructions, with mechanical mixing preferred. The mixing time should be controlled within 1-2 minutes to ensure uniformity. If manual mixing is used, it should be done in two steps: first, add two-thirds of the water and mix for 2 minutes, then add the remaining water and continue mixing until the slurry is uniform. The water addition range for standard consistency is 12%-14%. The water amount must be strictly controlled according to the ratio to avoid affecting the flowability and hardening properties of the grout due to excessive thinness or thickness.
3. Grouting equipment cleaning
After mixing, the grouting machine should be immediately rinsed thoroughly with clean water to remove any residual grout inside the equipment, preventing the grout from solidifying and clogging the pipes or affecting subsequent use. The cleaning process should ensure no grout residue remains to avoid performance fluctuations caused by mixing different batches of grout.
4. Sleeve grouting operation
The single-side grouting method should be used, continuously injecting the grout from one side of the sleeve until the grout overflows from the other side. During this process, the grouting pressure should be kept stable. After the sleeve is fully filled with grout, continue grouting for an additional 30 seconds to ensure internal compactness without voids. After grouting is completed, immediately seal the grouting holes with rubber rods or special rubber plugs to prevent grout backflow or the entry of external impurities. It is strictly prohibited to grout from all sides of the sleeve simultaneously, as this can easily lead to air entrapment, forming bubbles and reducing the grouting compactness.
This process ensures the structural safety and durability of the connection nodes in prefabricated houses through strict interface treatment, precise grout preparation, standardized equipment operation, and scientific grouting methods. During construction, it is essential to closely monitor parameters such as ambient temperature, grout flowability, and hardening time to avoid quality defects caused by improper operation.
