Export of Prefabricated House Finished Products

Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026

The export scale of China's prefabricated house finished products continues to grow, with increasing recognition in overseas markets and several notable characteristics.

Strong export scale and growth momentum: From 2015 to 2025, China's prefabricated building export value nearly tripled over a decade, with a growth rate of 45% in the first quarter of 2026. In the first seven months of this year, the Shatian Customs under the Huangpu Customs supervised the export of 23 batches of modular houses, with a total value of 548 million yuan, a 7.3-fold increase year-on-year. In the first four months, the total value of movable houses exported by enterprises nationwide through the Shenzhen port reached 1.68 billion yuan, a 19.6% increase year-on-year, with products sold to more than 150 countries and regions. From January to October 2024, the total value of goods exported to Saudi Arabia supervised by the Shatian Customs reached 281 million yuan, a 1.32-fold increase year-on-year.

Wide distribution of export markets: The ASEAN region has shown outstanding growth, with markets such as Indonesia and Vietnam allowing direct shipment after customs clearance and inspection at Dongguan Port, shortening delivery cycles. Markets in Thailand and Malaysia are also actively engaging. Additionally, the market covers more than 20 countries and regions, including the UK and Australia, with products suitable for various scenarios such as hotels, apartments, dormitories, office buildings, hospitals, and even data centers.

Strengthening of export enterprises: Guangdong CIMC Architectural Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has independently developed an integrated modular building system with integral steel structures, offering a diverse range of products. Overseas orders continue to grow, with key projects exported to Cameroon, Indonesia, Australia, the UK, and other places recently delivered successfully. The delivery value of modular buildings in the first half of this year reached 59.772 million yuan.

Significant export advantages: Domestically produced 'prefabricated houses' are going abroad with core advantages such as rapid delivery, environmental protection and energy efficiency, strong adaptability, and controllable quality. For example, the 63 modular elderly care apartments purchased by UK merchants were installed on-site in just two weeks after arriving at Southampton Port in the UK. The 84-module assembled hotel in Papua New Guinea saved a significant amount of labor, with a more certain and faster cost recovery period, leading to continuous repurchases by the owner.

Customs support for exports: Customs provides various facilitation measures for the export of prefabricated house finished products. The Shatian Customs actively connects with enterprises, grasps export plans in advance, opens green channels, coordinates with ports for priority berth arrangements, and strengthens顺势监管 (streamlined supervision). The Xinhui Customs under the Jiangmen Customs precisely guides enterprises in completing account book model upgrades, reducing burdens and increasing efficiency for enterprises.
