Prefabricated House Decoration Plan
Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026
The decoration plan for prefabricated houses should be formulated according to the house type and needs. Here are targeted decoration suggestions for different types of prefabricated houses:

I. Decoration Plan for Old Prefabricated Panel Residential Buildings in Communities
- Structural Reinforcement: Due to their long construction history, old prefabricated panel houses require priority reinforcement of their load-bearing capacity. The floor slabs can be reinforced with a composite of steel wire mesh and concrete, and local reinforcement can be carried out on walls, beams, and columns to ensure structural safety. Before construction, it is necessary to contact a professional agency for inspection to avoid damaging the original load-bearing structure.
- Water and Electricity Circuit Renovation: The water and electricity pipelines in old houses are prone to aging. It is necessary to completely replace the water pipes and wires and carry out construction according to the original architectural drawings to avoid damaging hidden circuits. It is recommended to use PPR water pipes and copper-core wires to improve durability.
- Thermal Insulation, Heat Insulation, and Sound Insulation: The walls can be painted with thermal insulation coatings or equipped with thermal insulation materials such as polystyrene boards. For houses on the top floor, a heat insulation layer (such as extruded polystyrene board) needs to be laid on the roof. The windows should be replaced with insulated or vacuum glass and equipped with sealing strips to reduce noise and heat transfer.
- Selection of Environmentally Friendly Materials: Priority should be given to environmentally friendly materials such as low-formaldehyde panels and water-based paints to avoid the impact of decoration pollution on health. After construction, keep the area well-ventilated and conduct air testing if necessary.
II. Plan to Avoid Pitfalls in All-Inclusive Decoration of Prefabricated Houses
- Beware of Low-Price Traps: Avoid promises such as 'zero additional items for whole-house renovation' and 'free design'. The contract should clearly specify the cost range of basic procedures (such as demolition, water and electricity work, and masonry) to prevent malicious price increases later.
- Material Brands and Inspection: The contract should indicate the brand, model, specification, and place of origin of materials (for example, tiles should indicate the place of origin and grade). Check the materials one by one when they arrive on site to prevent the use of inferior materials or brand substitution.
- Review of Contract Terms: Verbal promises should be included in the contract, and the construction period, liability for breach of contract, warranty terms, etc., should be clearly specified. Avoid using vague expressions (such as 'calculated according to actual occurrence') to reduce the risk of disputes.
III. Decoration Plan for Prefabricated Container Houses
- Advantages of Factory Prefabrication: The structure, thermal insulation layer, doors and windows, and electrical circuits of container houses are all prefabricated in the factory. Only hoisting, assembly, and connection of water and electricity are required on site, shortening the construction period.
- Flexible Functional Combination: They can be used as a single unit or assembled from multiple units according to needs (for example, two units can be assembled into a conference room, and three units can be assembled into an office area), supporting rapid transformation into temporary office, residential, or commercial spaces.
- Outdoor Adaptability: They adopt wind- and earthquake-resistant structures (such as welded frames and thickened steel plates) and waterproof and soundproof designs (such as rock wool thermal insulation layers and sealed doors and windows) to meet the needs of complex environments such as construction sites and the wilderness.
The above plans should be adjusted according to the actual condition of the house. It is recommended to consult a professional agency or designer before decoration to ensure safety and practicality.
