Custom Scale of Prefabricated Houses

Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026

The custom scale of prefabricated houses is quite flexible, allowing for adjustments to size parameters according to specific needs, covering multiple dimensions such as width, length, height, and number of floors.

Width Adjustment: The customization range for the width of prefabricated houses is broad. Standard dimensions typically range from 3 meters to 4 meters, with adjustments made in increments of 10 centimeters (e.g., 3.1 meters, 3.2 meters, etc.), meeting general residential or small commercial needs. For larger spaces, some projects can exceed standard ranges, such as custom widths of 7.2 meters or 7.6 meters. These dimensions are often used for large warehouses, industrial plants, or special-purpose facilities, requiring design considerations for structural stability and transportation conditions.

Length Customization: Length parameters offer even greater flexibility, adjustable based on site conditions or usage requirements. For example, a common outer diameter length is 6.6 meters, with some projects supporting longer custom lengths, even exceeding 12 meters. Length design must consider transportation limitations, foundation bearing capacity, and functional zoning, such as elongated houses suitable for office, teaching, or production line layouts.

Height and Number of Floors: The height of prefabricated houses typically ranges from 2.5 meters to 3.5 meters, suitable for single-story residential or commercial use. For expanded vertical space, double-story structures can be customized, achieving functional zoning through increased floor height or the addition of mezzanines (e.g., living upstairs, office downstairs). Double-story designs require enhanced structural strength and compliance with building codes for seismic resistance and fire safety.

Common Size Ranges: Based on industry practices, the dimensions of prefabricated concrete houses mostly fall within the following ranges: length 6 to 12 meters, width 3 to 6 meters, and height 2.5 to 3.5 meters. This range balances transportation convenience, structural stability, and cost-effectiveness, suitable for most residential, office, and small commercial scenarios.

Customization Considerations: When customizing, it is essential to comprehensively evaluate site conditions, transportation routes, structural safety, and usage functions. For example, oversized or extra-long houses require advance planning of transportation routes to avoid restrictions from bridges or tunnels; double-story structures necessitate deeper foundations and stronger materials; special dimensions may involve non-standard mold development, requiring early communication with suppliers about costs and timelines. Through reasonable design, prefabricated houses can achieve diverse applications from temporary housing to permanent buildings.
