Eco-Friendly Materials for Custom Prefabricated Houses
Common eco-friendly materials used in custom prefabricated houses include EPS modules, light steel structures, aerated concrete blocks, cement prefabricated house roofs, prefabricated house sandwich panel materials, and movable panel house materials.

EPS modules, also known as expanded polystyrene foam modules, are highly energy-efficient wall materials. They offer excellent thermal insulation performance, effectively reducing heat exchange between indoors and outdoors and lowering energy consumption. The construction process is convenient, significantly shortening the project timeline, and they have strong earthquake resistance, providing a safer environment for occupants.
Light steel structures are lightweight yet strong, making them easier to transport and install, and enabling faster construction speeds. Additionally, the materials are recyclable, aligning with green and eco-friendly concepts. However, the sound insulation performance of light steel structures is relatively weak, requiring additional measures to enhance sound insulation, and proper fire prevention and rust prevention treatments are necessary to extend their service life.
Aerated concrete blocks are a new type of wall material with characteristics of light weight, thermal insulation, and fire resistance. They have good heat insulation performance, effectively blocking heat transfer, and strong fire resistance, enhancing building safety. Construction is convenient, but their strength is relatively low, making them less suitable for high-rise buildings.
Cement prefabricated house roofs use steel skeleton lightweight panels, featuring fire resistance, thermal insulation, and sound insulation properties. They are suitable for the construction of exterior walls and roofs and can be customized in specifications to meet the design requirements of different buildings.
Prefabricated house sandwich panels adopt light steel structures and use rock wool fireproof boards as cladding materials, offering earthquake and fire resistance. This structural form is commonly used for temporary housing, enabling the rapid construction of houses that meet living needs while ensuring safety.
Movable panel house materials use light steel as the framework and sandwich panels as cladding materials, characterized by disassembly and convenient transportation. Among them, color-steel movable houses have outstanding thermal insulation performance and a service life of up to 10-20 years, widely used in temporary buildings or locations requiring frequent relocation.
