Prefabricated House Construction Process
The construction process of a prefabricated house is mainly divided into four stages, as follows:

1. Leveling the foundation and pouring the cushion layer
First, it is necessary to clear杂草 (weeds), stones, and other debris from the site to ensure a flat foundation surface. Measurements are taken to determine the excavation depth and ground height to meet the requirements of the design drawings. The excavation depth is typically about 60 centimeters. After completion, a white plastic sheet is laid, which serves to prevent excessive water loss during the concrete pouring process, promote cement hydration reactions, and thereby enhance the strength and durability of the concrete. Subsequently, a concrete pump truck is used to pour the foundation, noting that no steel reinforcement is used in this stage of the foundation.
2. Installing foundation piles and assembling crossbeams
After the concrete has fully solidified, the installation of foundation piles begins. First, base plates are installed by drilling holes in the cushion layer with a drill and securing the base plates with expansion screws, which function to firmly connect the foundation piles to the cushion layer. The foundation piles are prefabricated components, each weighing about 5 tons, with reserved holes at the four corners for lifting. During installation, a mobile crane is used for lifting and assembly according to the design positions. The assembly of crossbeams is done layer by layer, similar to building with blocks, with their positions adjusted using a leveling instrument before being fixed with nuts at the connection points. To enhance structural stability, foam sealant is used to fill the gaps between the crossbeams and foundation piles, and cement is applied at the nut fixation points to prevent rusting of the nuts or corrosion of the connecting components.
3. Backfilling soil and pouring the foundation
After completing the foundation frame structure, soil backfilling around the frame is required. During backfilling, the soil is compacted in layers to ensure the soil density meets the requirements and to prevent future settlement. This step provides stable support for the subsequent construction of the main structure and protects the foundation piles and crossbeams from external environmental erosion.
4. Main structure assembly
The main structure is assembled using prefabricated components, with crossbeams quickly connected through mortise-and-tenon joints without the need for on-site welding or complex processing. Components such as stairs are also installed by lifting, with the floor slab typically laid to a thickness of 5 centimeters, ensuring a flat surface. After all components are assembled, grouting is performed on the gaps, using specialized grouting material to fill and level the gaps, which enhances the overall structural integrity and improves waterproofing performance.
The construction process of a prefabricated house, through modular design and standardized construction, significantly shortens the construction period and reduces the difficulty of on-site operations while ensuring building quality and durability.
