Prefabricated House Construction Factory

Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026

Prefabricated house construction factories produce building components through industrial assembly lines and assemble them on-site, achieving an efficient, precise, and environmentally friendly construction model.

Production Mode: Modular Parallel Operations

Factories disassemble buildings into independent modules (such as ceilings, walls, plumbing and electrical lines, etc.) and produce them in parallel through automated production lines. For example, China State Construction Haolong's concrete MiC flexible production line can produce a fully equipped module every 20 minutes, with an annual delivery capacity of 20,000 to 30,000 units. China State Construction Kegong's steel structure modular factory produces the six sides of a house in parallel through six sub-production lines, with a daily output of 50 units, ten times the efficiency of similar factories in North America. This mode significantly shortens the construction period compared to traditional on-site construction.

Technical Equipment: Intelligent Precision Control

Factories employ high-precision robots, AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) systems, laser cutting, and welding technologies to achieve millimeter-level error control. Welding robots can stably connect steel components, while concealed work inspection robots use laser scanning to reconstruct the internal structure of modules in three dimensions, automatically comparing them with design drawings to intercept any millimeter-level deviations. China State Construction Haolong's wall panel installation robot can complete plastering on 70 square meters of wall surface in 20 minutes, far exceeding the efficiency of traditional workers.

Production Process: Full Traceability

Component production is separated from final assembly. Raw materials such as sand and gravel enter the factory and are distributed to workstations through automated three-dimensional warehouses. After module manufacturing, each component is assigned a unique QR code 'identity card,' allowing all production data to be traced by scanning. For example, a public housing project in Shenzhen, Guangdong, was assembled from 6,028 concrete modules, with the factory completing more than 70% of the processes and only requiring on-site cast-in-place connections.

Industrial Advantages: High Efficiency, Environmental Protection, and Stable Quality

Factory-based production shortens the construction period by more than 60%, reduces on-site labor by about 50%, and decreases construction waste emissions by 75%. Taking the Guangzhou Nansha Dayong resettlement housing project as an example, five buildings nearly 100 meters tall were assembled from modules, with the completion and delivery period compressed from 2.5-3 years to just one year. Additionally, the factory environment avoids weather interference, resulting in significantly better quality stability compared to on-site construction.

Market and Export: Significant Global Growth

Chinese prefabricated houses have been exported to more than 150 countries and regions, including Australia, North America, and the Middle East. In the first four months of 2026, the Guangzhou Customs District exported 1.4 billion yuan worth of modular houses, a year-on-year increase of 38.1%; while the Shenzhen Port exported 1.68 billion yuan worth, a year-on-year increase of 19.6%.
