Prefabricated Concrete House Production

Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026

Prefabricated concrete house production is a construction method that involves industrial production of building components and on-site assembly, offering advantages such as shortened construction periods, reduced costs, and minimized construction waste.

Technical Classification

  • By Production Location: It is divided into two categories: on-site prefabrication and factory prefabrication, achieving component standardization through industrial production.
  • By Connection Method: Assembly is carried out using methods such as steel bar sleeve grouting and prestressed connections. Connection technologies are classified into wet connections (sleeves, grout anchors) and dry connections (embedded connectors, prestressing), with prestressing technology enhancing seismic performance.
  • Applicable Structures: It is suitable for building forms such as frame structures and shear wall structures.
  • Core Components: These include prefabricated floor slabs, beams, walls, columns, etc., covering types such as composite floor slabs, prestressed composite beams, and sandwich insulation exterior walls.

Development History

  • Initial Stage: China's prefabricated concrete technology began in the 1950s, initially applied in factory and residential construction.
  • Development Stage: In the 1970s, driven by policies promoting construction "three modernizations" (industrialization, prefabrication, standardization), technical systems such as large-panel structures and box structures emerged. By the late 1970s and early 1980s, an application technology system based on standard prefabricated components was basically established.
  • Resurgence Stage: After the 21st century, it experienced a resurgence due to production efficiency and environmental advantages. Companies like Vanke Group developed prefabricated shear wall residential structural systems and applied prefabricated frame technology in engineering projects.

Production Modes

  • Panel Assembly: Using prefabricated wall panels and floor slabs as core components, it can expand usable area but is limited by design flexibility.
  • Box Assembly: By combining prefabricated functional units, construction speed increases by 50%-70%, but it requires higher transportation and lifting equipment.
  • Modular Construction: It is a more integrated mode within prefabricated assembly construction.

Industry Status

In recent years, China's prefabricated concrete house production has achieved digital process upgrades through the application of intelligent production lines, with relevant national standards being formulated one after another. Regions like Fujian Province have established industrial bases through policy support, achieving over 70% reduction in construction waste. Chinese-made prefabricated houses are also selling well overseas. According to customs data, in the first four months of 2026, the Guangzhou Customs district exported movable houses worth 1.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 38.1%.
