Prefabricated Concrete House Construction

Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026

The construction process of prefabricated concrete houses combines factory prefabrication with on-site assembly, offering advantages such as high efficiency, environmental friendliness, and low cost. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Foundation Treatment
First, the residential site must be cleared and the soil layer leveled. A polypropylene film is then applied to isolate moisture and prevent dampness. Concrete is poured into the foundation pit using a conveying pump to form a base layer. In some projects, a plain concrete base layer is laid first, followed by the installation of heavy foundation piles (such as 5-ton concrete piers). Finally, a threaded steel reinforcement mesh is laid and the entire foundation is poured. This step ensures that the foundation's bearing capacity meets design requirements, providing a stable base for subsequent module installation.

2. Module Prefabrication and Transportation
Core components such as walls, floor slabs, beams, and columns are cast in one piece in the factory using high-precision molds. The modules are made of C30-C40 grade concrete with built-in Φ8-Φ12 steel reinforcement meshes, achieving a compressive strength of 25-30 MPa, which is 1.5 times that of traditional brick-and-mortar structures. The components integrate steel reinforcement skeletons, insulation layers, waterproof layers, and pre-installed piping, reducing on-site construction steps. After prefabrication, the modules are transported to the construction site using specialized vehicles and must be secured during transit to prevent deformation.

3. On-Site Assembly

  • Lifting and Joining: A crane is used to transport prefabricated modules (such as 30㎡ standard modules) to their designated positions. The modules are connected using prestressed bolts and welded steel plates to form an overall framework. For example, a South Korean construction team once completed the assembly of a second-floor framework in half a day by aligning protrusions with grooves and tightening nuts.
  • Gap Treatment: Connection gaps and holes are filled, and all gaps are sealed with expanding foam. Secondary grouting is performed at the connections of load-bearing columns to ensure structural integrity.
  • Floor Slab and Roof Construction: A thin floor slab (e.g., 5 cm thick) is laid and pressed against the beams. The soil is backfilled and compacted, followed by the installation of foam board insulation. For the roof, concrete is poured and leveled with a small scraper to ensure even coverage and prevent water accumulation.

4. Post-Construction Reinforcement and Finishing
Iron rods are inserted into the columns to enhance stability, and a steel reinforcement mesh is laid and poured with concrete to form an overall structure. The modules are designed with slots for EPS insulation boards, which, when inserted on-site, improve thermal insulation by 40%. The result is a "48-hour rapid home," with the overall construction of a 100㎡ house taking only 2 days.

Core Advantages:

  • High Efficiency: The factory prefabrication + on-site lifting model significantly shortens the construction period. Traditional house building takes 3-6 months, while prefabricated concrete houses take only 2 days to 2 weeks.
  • Low Cost: The cost of the main modules for a 120㎡ house is 30% lower than that of traditional brick-and-mortar structures, with total expenses controllable within 200,000 yuan.
  • Strong Environmental Protection: Construction waste is reduced by 90%, and the formaldehyde emission level of materials is ≤0.05 mg/m³, well below national standards.
  • Stable Structure: The houses can withstand wind speeds of up to 10 and have a seismic resistance of 7 degrees on the seismic fortification intensity scale. The interconnected modules form an overall framework.

Application Scenarios: Suitable for rural self-built houses, commercial spaces, and cultural tourism projects, supporting horizontal splicing and vertical stacking (up to 3 floors) to achieve flexible floor plans.
