Prefabricated Concrete House Assembly
Quản trị 17 tháng 9, 2026
Prefabricated concrete house assembly, also known as prefabricated concrete construction, primarily utilizes factory-produced reinforced concrete prefabricated components, which are then assembled on-site to construct concrete-structured housing buildings.

I. Classification
- By degree of assembly: It is divided into fully prefabricated buildings and partially prefabricated buildings. Fully prefabricated buildings are mostly low-rise or multi-story buildings with lower seismic requirements; partially prefabricated buildings combine prefabricated components with cast-in-place concrete to form an integrated prefabricated structure, suitable for high-rise buildings or scenarios with high seismic requirements.
- By structural form: It includes prefabricated concrete frame structures, frame-shear wall structures, etc. The frame structure consists of prefabricated columns, beams, and slabs. Columns are connected by grouted sleeves to steel bars, beams are prefabricated on the lower half and cast-in-place on the upper half, and slabs are reinforced with steel bar trusses to enhance stiffness.
II. Characteristics and Advantages
- High construction efficiency: Factory-prefabricated components reduce on-site wet work, increasing construction speed by 30%-50%, especially beneficial for winter construction.
- Controllable quality: Standardized production reduces human errors, achieving millimeter-level component precision and minimizing quality issues such as cracks and leaks.
- Green and environmentally friendly: It reduces template usage and construction waste emissions by approximately 60%, and water consumption by 40%, aligning with the concept of full-cycle green construction.
- Resource conservation: Industrialized production optimizes material utilization, reducing steel and concrete waste rates by 15%-20% compared to traditional construction methods.
III. Development Status and Challenges
- Policy promotion: China has designated the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Yangtze River Delta, and Pearl River Delta as key promotion areas. Hainan Province aims for 80% of newly started prefabricated buildings by 2025, and Guangzhou will implement 100% prefabricated construction for residential land starting in 2026.
- Technical systems: Systems such as prefabricated frame cladding panels, NPC shear walls, and composite shear walls have been established. However, attention must be paid to non-structural safety issues such as water leakage at exterior wall joints, durability of filling materials, and cracks at the bottom of composite slabs.
- Transformation challenges: The design, construction, and production processes need to transition from cast-in-place to prefabricated assembly, requiring enhanced standardized design, modular construction, and training for industrial workers.
IV. Application Prospects
With the advancement of the 'dual carbon' goals, prefabricated construction will upgrade towards intelligence and digitization, integrating BIM technology for full lifecycle management to further reduce energy consumption and emissions, becoming the mainstream direction of future building industrialization.
