Reinforcement of Prefabricated Brick Structure Houses

Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026

Reinforcement of prefabricated brick structure houses can be approached from aspects such as the roof, walls, structure, foundation, and others, utilizing various methods to enhance the overall strength and earthquake resistance of the house.

Roof Reinforcement: There are two common methods. First, pour a reinforced concrete 'composite layer' on top of the prefabricated panels. Begin by cleaning the surface dust from the prefabricated panels, laying a steel mesh with a diameter of 6 millimeters and a spacing of 20 centimeters square, and then pouring fine aggregate concrete with a grade not lower than C25, typically with a thickness of 5 to 8 centimeters. Second, remove the original filling material at the panel joints, implant No. 6 deformed steel bars, and pour C30 fine aggregate concrete to enhance the joint strength between the panels.

Wall Reinforcement: There are multiple methods. Reinforced concrete 'cladding walls' can be added to the interior and exterior of the walls, providing the old walls with a reinforced concrete 'coat' to improve their overall integrity. Repaint the exterior walls and perform steel bar implantation and grouting to strengthen the load-bearing capacity and tensile properties of the original walls. Inject reinforced concrete into the walls to increase their earthquake resistance. Add structural columns at the corners of the house, typically with a cross-section of 240*240 millimeters, reinforced with No. 6 and No. 8 steel bars, and connected to the floor slabs to improve the overall stability of the house.

Structural Reinforcement: Install steel beams, columns, plates, etc., at critical locations such as walls, stairs, and roofs to increase the overall strength and stiffness of the house. During the construction preparation phase, set up a temporary support system, placing steel pipe supports every 1.2 meters along the length of the prefabricated panels. Use H-section steel beams as replacement beams at key nodes, with a beam cross-section not less than 200*200 millimeters, to ensure construction safety.

Foundation Reinforcement: Increase the load-bearing capacity of the foundation by enlarging its size, deepening it, or adding a steel mesh. Add reinforcement agents or foundation sealing materials to improve the earthquake resistance of the foundation and ensure the stability of the house's foundation.

Other Reinforcement Methods: Incorporate seismic isolation devices, such as spring isolators or rubber isolators, into the foundation or structure of the prefabricated panel house to reduce the impact of earthquakes on the building. Reinforce by increasing the cross-section of the floor slabs, adding a reinforced concrete adhesive layer not less than 40 millimeters thick to the surface and bottom of the prefabricated floor slabs to enhance their load-bearing capacity.
