Portable TV Toilet

Quản trị 23 tháng 9, 2026

The "portable TV toilet" is not a standardized product, but similar functions can be achieved through two scenarios: integrating TVs into portable toilets for public settings or using a TV + mobile stand solution for home settings.

1. Public Settings: Portable Toilets with Integrated TVs

Portable toilets typically refer to movable public facilities composed of modules such as waste treatment units, walls, and roofs. They are classified by structure into single-unit (individual standalone units) and composite (multiple units combined) types, and by mobility into hoisting-type (requiring lifting equipment) and towable (trailer-mounted) types. Some manufacturers offer customization services; for example, a manufacturer in Foshan, Guangdong, can produce portable toilets with integrated TV functions. However, such products are relatively expensive (e.g., 3900 yuan per unit) and are mainly used in public settings like scenic spots and construction sites. Their design must meet public usage requirements, such as large-capacity waste treatment and rapid cleaning and maintenance. The TV function is mostly an additional feature, with no explicit mention of suitability for home settings.

2. Home Settings: TV + Mobile Stand Solution

For home settings, it is more recommended to achieve "portable viewing" by pairing an ordinary TV with a mobile stand, which is more cost-effective and flexible. The specific solution is as follows:

  1. Device Selection:

    • TV: An ordinary TV will suffice. For example, a user can purchase a 32-inch Changhong TV for 280 yuan, with a total cost of about 370 yuan when paired with a mobile stand. If waterproof performance is desired, a dedicated bathroom waterproof TV (22-inch for about 2900 yuan) can be chosen, but its cost is significantly higher than that of an ordinary TV.
    • Stand: It is recommended to choose a mobile stand with wheels, which allows flexible adjustment of the TV's position (e.g., directly opposite or to the side of the bathtub), enhancing viewing convenience.
  2. Space Adaptation:

    • The TV size should be selected based on the width of the bathroom. For example, a 2.1-meter-wide bathroom is suitable for a 32-inch TV (with a viewing distance of about 1.5 meters) to avoid visual fatigue caused by an overly large screen.
  3. Waterproofing:

    • For an ordinary TV, measures such as sealing the power strip and using a waterproof bag for the remote control should be taken to prevent moisture intrusion, but it should be kept away from direct exposure to the showerhead. A dedicated bathroom waterproof TV, with an IP65 or higher waterproof rating, can be installed directly near the shower area, but it is more expensive.

3. Solution Selection Recommendations

  • Public Settings: If integrating a TV into a portable toilet is required, contact the manufacturer for customization services, but evaluate the cost against actual needs.
  • Home Settings: The ordinary TV + mobile stand solution is recommended for its low cost and flexibility; if the budget allows and long-term waterproofing is needed, consider a dedicated bathroom waterproof TV.
