Type of Portable Toilet

Quản trị 20 tháng 9, 2026

A portable toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It has advantages such as portability, modularity, and ease of transportation, and is suitable for various places. There are multiple structural forms, mobility methods, and sewage treatment methods for portable toilets.

Portable toilets are widely applicable, covering stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. These places often have high pedestrian traffic and concentrated toilet needs. Traditional fixed toilets have high construction costs and poor layout flexibility, while portable toilets can effectively solve this problem.

In terms of structural forms, portable toilets are divided into single-unit structural portable toilets and composite-structural portable toilets. The single-unit structure is relatively simple and highly independent; the composite structure may integrate more functional modules to meet more complex usage requirements.

Regarding mobility methods, there are lifting and handling portable toilets. These toilets are usually large in volume and heavy in structure, requiring professional equipment for movement. Power-driven and towed portable toilets have the ability to move autonomously or be towed by vehicles, offering higher flexibility.

Sewage treatment methods are an important classification basis for portable toilets. Water-flush and waterless suction portable toilets: the former relies on water for flushing, while the latter treats feces through suction. Recirculating water-flush portable toilets can recycle flushing water, saving water resources. Dry-packing portable toilets collect feces in packages, requiring no water source or sewage pipes, and are suitable for areas with water shortages or no sewage discharge capabilities.

In addition, portable toilets are constantly innovating and developing. For example, folding toilets, which are only 90 centimeters tall when collapsed, can be easily transported by pickup trucks or box trucks, making them very suitable for various event sites, construction sites, and remote areas. The 2026 new model features a lightweight plastic portable toilet with a lightweight design, equipped with usage signs, ventilation design, a large-capacity freshwater tank, a gravity-flush sewage tank with a foot pump, and an exhaust pipe to effectively remove odors, further enhancing convenience and comfort of use.
