Pop-up Mobile Toilet

Quản trị 20 tháng 9, 2026

"Pop-up mobile toilet" may refer to either pop-up toilets or situations where mobile toilets unexpectedly pop out during use. The following provides an introduction to both scenarios:

Pop-up Toilets

Pop-up toilets are an innovative type of temporary sanitation facility that have gradually gained attention in recent years.

  • Features: They possess characteristics such as rapid deployment, intelligent management, and foldable storage. Utilizing a modular design concept combined with lightweight composite materials and intelligent control systems, they can be unfolded and put into use within a short period. Some models also integrate solar power supply, sewage recycling treatment, and IoT monitoring functions, greatly enhancing convenience and environmental friendliness in use.
  • Application Scenarios: They primarily serve large-scale festivals and sports events, providing temporary sanitation solutions for large crowds. In natural disaster relief and public health emergency responses, they can be quickly set up to meet sanitation needs in emergency situations. They can also serve as a supplement to urban public services, alleviating the shortage of public toilets in specific areas.
  • Production Situation: Several domestic companies, including Shanghai Public Toilet Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Jierun Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Xunjie Emergency Equipment Co., Ltd., have ventured into the research and development and production of pop-up toilets. Taking Jiangsu Jierun as an example, the company's QuickPod series of pop-up toilets launched in 2024 are priced between 48,000 and 72,000 yuan per unit.

Mobile Toilets Popping Out Unexpectedly During Use

There have been cases where mobile toilets have unexpectedly popped out during use, resulting in injuries to users. For instance, in 2023, a construction worker named Steve Gressey in Queens, New York, was "ejected" from a mobile toilet when it suddenly collapsed during use, causing severe injuries. He and his wife sued the mobile toilet company Rent A Throne, claiming that the accident ruined his sex life and incurred substantial medical expenses. Such situations are usually caused by quality issues with the mobile toilet, improper installation, or accidental factors during use, causing significant harm and losses to users.
