Mobile Toilet at Panda Base

Quản trị 21 tháng 9, 2026

The Zhongyunhui 5G Smart Carbon-Neutral Public Toilet put into use at the Panda Base features three main characteristics: convenient guidance, a 'three-no' standard, and integration of cultural and tourism services.

In terms of convenient guidance, the toilet optimizes the restroom experience for visitors through digital means. A mini-program on mobile phones provides real-time occupancy status of nearby toilets based on the visitor's location, guiding them to quickly locate available stalls. At the entrance, a high-definition screen dynamically displays the number of available stalls, air quality index, and estimated waiting time. After scanning a code to enter, the system automatically completes headcount and stall allocation, effectively avoiding the long queues typical of traditional public toilets. This precise guidance mechanism significantly improves restroom efficiency for visitors, especially during peak hours, reducing unnecessary waiting time.

Regarding the 'three-no' standard, the toilet adopts a waterless flushing, odorless, and pollution-free technical approach. There are no water tanks or flush buttons inside the stalls; the squat toilets open and close via gravity sensing, with excrement directly entering a degradation tank at the bottom, eliminating the need for manual flushing and water splashing throughout the process, thus preventing water waste from traditional toilets at the source. In terms of environmental control, when the outdoor temperature was 34°C and the toilet was not air-conditioned, the ammonia concentration did not trigger the automatic deodorization device's activation threshold, with only a faint scent of bacterial agent fermentation in the air, a stark contrast to the pungent odor of traditional mobile toilets. Additionally, a single toilet saves approximately 3,000 tons of water annually, with a fecal degradation rate exceeding 96%, achieving efficient resource utilization and minimal pollution.

In terms of integration of cultural and tourism services, the toilet transcends its traditional function, becoming a node for cultural and tourism information exchange. The touchscreen on the exterior wall, in addition to basic navigation functions, integrates recommendations for nearby attractions, hotel and dining information, and tips on current cultural and tourism activities. The interactive terminal, supported by an AI vertical model for cultural tourism, generates personalized suggestions based on the visitor's duration of stay and query preferences, such as recommending nearby specialty dining or discounted accommodation options, with visitors able to directly claim coupons. This service model transforms the restroom scenario into an entry point for cultural and tourism consumption, extending visitor stay time and boosting regional cultural and tourism consumption vitality.
