Outdoor Portable Toilet Usage Guide
The usage methods for outdoor portable toilets vary depending on the type, and corresponding operation methods should be selected based on the specific type. Here are detailed usage instructions for common types:

1. Portable and Movable Toilets
These toilets typically consist of a toilet body, a black water tank (for storing waste), and a water tank (for storing flushing water). Before use, the toilet should be fixed on a stable ground to avoid shaking. When installing the black water tank, it should be secured using a buckle design. To remove it, press both buckles simultaneously for quick separation. Before use, fill the water tank with clean water. When flushing, pull out the flushing device to complete the flush. After use, press the buckles to remove the black water tank, pour the waste into designated disposal points (such as septic tanks or toilets), and rinse the inside of the black water tank with clean water to avoid residual odors or bacteria. If the product comes with deodorizers or disinfectants, they can be added after cleaning to extend the usage cycle.
2. Outdoor Environments Without Fixed Facilities
In wild areas lacking toilet facilities, privacy and environmental protection should be prioritized. If there are natural barriers nearby (such as trees or rocks), they can be used directly; if there are no barriers, wear a raincoat or use a waterproof cloth to set up a temporary barrier. If choosing a pit toilet, the following principles should be followed:
- Location Selection: Stay away from water sources (at least 60 meters), trails, and campsites to avoid environmental pollution;
- Operation: Dig a pit about 30 centimeters deep, with a width suitable for comfortable squatting;
- Disposal: After use, cover the waste with soil and add leaves or soil to reduce odors and attract insects.
If conditions permit, a toilet tent can be set up to increase privacy, and a waterproof cloth should be laid at the bottom of the tent to prevent leakage.
3. Other Types of Portable Toilets
These toilets have complex structures, including single-unit (independent units) or composite-unit (multi-unit combinations), and their movement methods involve lifting or towing. When using them, strictly refer to the product manual and focus on the following details:
- Installation: Adjust the support feet according to the ground flatness to ensure stability;
- Wastewater Treatment: Water-flush toilets need to be connected to a water source or water tank, non-water-flush suction toilets need to have their waste tanks cleaned regularly, and circulating water-flush toilets need to add biodegradable agents;
- Maintenance: Regularly check the flushing system, seals, and drainage pipes to avoid blockages or leaks.
Precautions: All types of portable toilets should be cleaned and disinfected after use to avoid bacterial growth; waste disposal should comply with local environmental regulations, and random dumping is prohibited.
