Outdoor Container Finished House

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Outdoor container finished houses are prefabricated buildings based on containers, which are either modified or directly used for residential or office purposes. They are characterized by flexibility, portability, controllable costs, and reusability, and are widely applied in engineering camps, commercial pop-ups, and temporary government and enterprise buildings.

I. Structural and Performance Characteristics

  1. Structural Stability:
Container houses adopt fully steel structural frames (such as those from Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure products) or semi-welded and semi-bolted connection structures (such as those from CIMC Modular Building Systems products), complying with the GB50011-2010 Building Seismic Design Code. Measurements show that the frame deformation of high-quality products under 12-level strong winds can be controlled within 2-3mm, far below the national standard limit of 10mm, ensuring safety in extreme weather conditions.

  2. Thermal Performance:
To address the high thermal conductivity of metal containers, a three-layer construction design is adopted: the outer layer is galvanized sheet for wind and sand resistance, the middle layer is 80-100mm rock wool for insulation, and the inner layer is PVC-coated steel sheet to reduce thermal radiation. Some products incorporate an elevated floor to block ground cold bridges, reducing indoor temperature fluctuations by approximately 40% compared to traditional color steel plate houses.

  3. Reusability:
Standardized products can be disassembled and reassembled more than 15 times (such as those from Suzhou Zhongnan), with no significant decrease in structural stability after each disassembly and reassembly. The cost per use is only one-third of that of a brand-new product. Non-standard white-label products can usually only be disassembled and reassembled 2-3 times, and are prone to frame loosening and wall deformation.

II. Application Scenarios and Advantages

  1. Engineering Camps:
They exhibit excellent wind and earthquake resistance and high installation efficiency (for example, a single set of Suzhou Zhongnan products can be assembled in just 4 hours), significantly shortening engineering preparation time.

  2. Commercial Temporary Spaces:
They support customized splicing and combination (such as curved walls and floor-to-ceiling glass windows), with an internal space utilization rate of over 90%. Moreover, the customization cycle is short (only 7 days for Suzhou Zhongnan), meeting the timeliness requirements of commercial projects.

  3. Urban Residence:
Through industrialized building methods, prefabricated production is achieved, and on-site installation errors are reduced from the centimeter level to the millimeter level. Functional zoning adopts an overlapping strategy (such as integrating the kitchen and bathroom and the variability of furniture) to adapt to the limitations of fixed-size containers (commonly 3m × 6m).

III. Purchase and Installation Considerations

  1. Structural Type Selection:
Welded integral containers have strong deformation resistance and are suitable for frequent lifting. Bolted modular containers require checking the wall thickness of the columns and bottom beams (commonly 1.5-3mm), with thicker walls providing greater load-bearing redundancy.

  2. Coating Process:
Hot-dip galvanizing treatment has a longer corrosion-resistant lifespan than cold-dip galvanizing. Especially in areas with large diurnal temperature differences and significant humidity changes, the coating quality directly affects the rusting speed of the container.

  3. Ground Treatment:
A uniform load-bearing foundation is required to avoid direct placement on soft soil, which can lead to uneven settlement and cause problems such as door and window deformation and wall cracks.
