Open-Close Container Mobile House

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The open-close container mobile house is not a standard classification name. Based on the common types of container mobile houses, it likely refers to container houses with space expansion or folding functions, such as foldable and expandable container houses. The following is an introduction from four aspects: type, structural characteristics, application scenarios, and performance comparison.

I. Types and Structural Characteristics

  1. Foldable Container House: It adopts a folding structural design. During transportation, its volume is compressed, and it can be quickly unfolded upon arrival at the site. The unfolding time for a single unit can be controlled within 30 minutes. Its structure achieves folding through hinges or detachable connectors, reducing transportation space occupation and being suitable for frequent relocation needs.
  2. Expandable Container House: It adds side or end expansion compartments on the basis of a standard container. After expansion, the usable area can be increased by 30%-50%. The expansion part is usually achieved through slide rails or hydraulic devices. The structural stability needs to take into account the load-bearing and wind and earthquake resistance after expansion.

II. Application Scenarios

  1. Foldable Type: It is suitable for scenarios that require rapid deployment and frequent relocation, such as exploration teams and temporary command centers, including geological exploration, field scientific research, and short-term engineering command centers.
  2. Expandable Type: It is suitable for long-term on-site office scenarios with high requirements for space comfort, such as project departments, temporary offices in industrial parks, and event planning sites. Through expansion, the flexibility of internal functional zoning is improved.

III. Performance Comparison

  1. Wind and Earthquake Resistance: Due to structural expansion, the expandable container house needs to strengthen the frame connection nodes. Its wind resistance can reach Level 11-12, and its earthquake resistance can reach Level 7-8. The foldable container house has a relatively compact structure, and its wind and earthquake resistance are similar to those of a standard container house, but the connection strength of the folding components needs to be ensured.
  2. Installation Efficiency: The foldable container house has a short unfolding time. A single module only takes 4 hours from arrival at the site to completion of assembly. The expandable container house requires additional time for expansion operations, but its overall deployment is still faster than that of traditional buildings.
  3. Reusability and Cost: High-quality foldable and expandable container houses can be repeatedly disassembled and assembled more than 10 times, and the cost per use is only one-third of that of a brand-new product. Non-standard white-label products have poor reusability due to thin steel and weak connection nodes, resulting in higher long-term costs.

IV. Purchase Recommendations

  1. Verify Qualifications: Give priority to products that have passed third-party testing. Check the wind and earthquake resistance test reports and avoid using white-label products without qualifications.
  2. Structural Inspection: Pay attention to the steel wall thickness of the columns and bottom beams (common specifications range from 1.5 mm to 3 mm). Welded container bodies have stronger deformation resistance than bolt-connected assembled containers.
  3. Scenario Adaptation: Choose the type according to the usage frequency, relocation needs, and space requirements. For example, choose the foldable type for frequent relocation and the expandable type for long-term on-site office.
