One-Time Molded Prefabricated House

Quản trị 19 tháng 9, 2026

A one-time molded prefabricated house is a modular or prefabricated building model where building components are prefabricated in a factory and assembled on-site.

The core of a one-time molded prefabricated house lies in 'factory prefabrication' and 'on-site assembly'. In the factory, key parts of the house, such as ceilings, walls, waterproof layers in bathrooms, and even floors and water and electricity pipelines, are prefabricated through assembly-line operations. This production method is similar to industrial manufacturing, ensuring the precision and quality of components while reducing errors and uncertainties in on-site construction. For example, a public housing project in Shenzhen, Guangdong, features five residential buildings nearly 100 meters high, assembled from 6,028 concrete modules, fully demonstrating the efficiency and precision of modular construction.

From a classification perspective, one-time molded prefabricated houses primarily fall into two categories: modular buildings and prefabricated assembly buildings. Modular buildings break down the entire structure into independent modules, each manufactured in a factory and then transported to the construction site for assembly. This model not only improves construction efficiency but also facilitates quality control and post-construction maintenance. Prefabricated assembly buildings, on the other hand, focus more on the industrial production of building components, including panel assembly, box assembly, and frame assembly types. Among them, box assembly achieves a significant increase in construction speed through the combination of prefabricated functional units (such as bathrooms and kitchens), with statistics showing a 50%-70% improvement.

The advantages of one-time molded prefabricated houses lie in their efficiency, environmental friendliness, and sustainability. Factory prefabrication reduces noise and dust pollution from on-site construction while minimizing material waste. On-site assembly shortens the construction period and improves project efficiency. Additionally, this building model facilitates the combination of standardization and personalization in architecture, meeting the needs of different users. With continuous technological advancements and policy support, one-time molded prefabricated houses are expected to become an important development direction in the future construction field.
