Prefabricated Housing Structure in Northwest China
A typical example of prefabricated housing structures in Northwest China is the Qinxing Jiayuan Residential Community in Qinhan New City, Xixian New Area. It adopts modular prefabricated construction technology, with the 'sandwich' insulated prefabricated wall as its core component, combined with standardized production and digital management, achieving efficient, precise, and durable construction goals.

1. Core Structure: 'Sandwich' Insulated Prefabricated Wall
This prefabricated wall consists of three layers:
- Outer Concrete Layer: Serving as the first line of defense, it directly resists wind and rain erosion, ensuring the durability of the wall.
- Middle High-Efficiency Insulation Board: Utilizing thermal insulation materials, it effectively reduces heat transfer between indoor and outdoor environments, lowering energy consumption.
- Inner Structural Layer: Responsible for load-bearing and compression resistance, ensuring the overall stability of the building.
The three layers are integrally cast in the factory, naturally integrating insulation, waterproofing, and structural functions, solving common issues such as 'hollowing, cracking, and leakage' in traditional exterior walls, significantly improving building quality and service life.
2. Standardized Production and Efficient Curing
Prefabricated components are produced in the factory using standardized molds, ensuring dimensional accuracy and uniform quality. After production, they enter a steam curing kiln for high-temperature 'curing', reducing the natural curing time from one month to 6 to 8 hours, enabling efficient turnover of 'production today, assembly tomorrow'. This process not only shortens the construction period but also reduces reliance on on-site construction conditions, adapting to the dry and large temperature variations in Northwest China.
3. Digital Management and Precise Assembly
Each prefabricated component is equipped with a unique QR code 'ID card', enabling full lifecycle digital management through BIM simulation + QR code traceability technology:
- Design Phase: BIM models simulate the assembly process, identifying and resolving conflicts between components in advance.
- Production Phase: QR codes record information such as component dimensions, materials, and production dates, ensuring quality traceability.
- Construction Phase: Workers scan the code to obtain installation location and dimensional parameters, achieving millimeter-level precise assembly by 'following the blueprint', significantly reducing human errors.
This case provides a replicable solution for prefabricated housing structures in Northwest China through modular design, industrial production, and digital technology integration, offering advantages in efficiency, quality, and environmental protection.
