There are various types of movable toilets, mainly including household movable toilets, portable toilets, integrated hoisted movable toilets, and towed movable environmentally friendly smart public toilets.

- Household movable toilets: These are mainly suitable for elderly people and those with mobility issues. They can be used flexibly in various settings such as living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms. They feature a stool-type flip cover design that effectively prevents odors and makes cleaning easy. They can also be used with garbage bags, providing convenient toilet conditions for the mobility-impaired in households.
- Portable toilets:
- Wide range of applicable places: They can be found in stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets.
- Complex composition: They are generally composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and moving devices.
- Material development: Initially made of wood and other materials, they had simple structures and functions and were prone to absorbing odors. Later, they gradually evolved to use materials such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene.
- Diverse classifications: According to structural form, they can be divided into single-structure movable toilets and composite-structure movable toilets; according to moving methods, they can be divided into hoisted and carried movable toilets, powered and towed movable toilets; according to sewage treatment methods, they can be divided into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction-type movable toilets, circulating water-flushing movable toilets, and dry-packing movable toilets.
- Outstanding features: They can be easily transported to any place where toilets need to be set up and can be used repeatedly. They have the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport.
- Integrated hoisted movable toilets: These are standardized and integrated in the factory without damaging any bricks or tiles on site. They can be used immediately upon arrival. They offer both squat and sit options, have stainless steel floors inside, use vacuum flushing, and have a single flush volume of about 1.
- Towed movable environmentally friendly smart public toilets: These can be towed anywhere at any time. They are 2 meters wide and have a towed bottom. They use a microbial degradation system, have foaming positions for each squat position, and are equipped with management rooms and equipment rooms.
