Funny Stories from Mobile Toilet Work
The most prominent funny incidents in mobile toilet work are two cases of 'accidentally taking away users', which, despite their dramatic nature, reflect loopholes in transportation management and have become a topic of public discussion.

On May 11, 2025, two similar incidents occurred in Baoding, Hebei. In the first incident, a woman used a mobile toilet left on the roadside after a marathon event ended. Due to the toilet's excellent sound insulation and her unawareness of the ongoing lifting operation outside, she was lifted onto a truck along with the toilet and taken onto the highway. During the truck's journey, the woman discovered the abnormality but was unable to call for help. She was finally discovered when the truck arrived at its destination and workers were unloading the cargo. The workers were collectively stunned and then burst into laughter, and the incident quickly drew attention.
On the same day, another woman encountered a similar situation. While she was using the mobile toilet, it was loaded onto a truck and taken onto the highway. Due to the toilet's well-sealed environment, she did not notice any external activity until the vehicle started and the bumps intensified, making her realize something was wrong. In fear, she pounded on the door and called for help. Eventually, a vehicle behind reminded the truck driver to stop, and it took the efforts of traffic police and firefighters to open the tilted toilet and rescue her. Netizens jokingly commented that 'this toilet ride was quite thrilling', and the incident quickly became an online sensation.
Although these incidents have an absurd quality, they expose potential risks in the transportation management of mobile toilets. For example, failing to remove mobile toilets promptly after an event ends or not checking whether there are people inside during transportation can both lead to such accidents. Additionally, while the sound insulation and sealing design of toilets can enhance the user experience, they may become safety hazards in transportation scenarios.
These incidents have not only become a topic of public discussion but have also sparked reflections on the transportation management of mobile toilets. Relevant departments and enterprises need to strengthen process standardization, such as setting up pre-transportation checklists and adding warning signs, to prevent similar absurd incidents from happening again.
