Mobile Toilet Without Lifting Hook

Quản trị 23 tháng 9, 2026

When a mobile toilet lacks a lifting hook, it can be flexibly moved using methods such as forklift transportation, wheel relocation, or towing.

For long-distance or cross-site transfers, forklift transportation is the primary method. In addition to reserved lifting rings, most mobile toilets are designed with forklift slots, typically with an opening height of 140mm-200mm and a width matching standard forklift tines. For example, a 15-ton forklift can easily transport a standard-sized (1.2m×1.2m×2.3m) mobile toilet. When using a forklift, ensure the tines are fully inserted into the slots and lifted horizontally to avoid structural damage caused by uneven force distribution.

Wheel relocation is suitable for short distances or minor positional adjustments. Standard mobile toilets are often equipped with heavy-duty swivel or directional wheels, with diameters typically ranging from 200-400mm and made of polyurethane or rubber, offering good shock absorption and load-bearing capacity (each wheel can support 300-500 kg). On hardened surfaces, concrete floors, or flat grassy areas, they can be moved manually or with the aid of small tools like crowbars. Pay attention to ground evenness to prevent wheels from sinking into soft soil or getting stuck on obstacles.

Some high-end models are equipped with towing hooks for vehicle towing. The towing hook is usually located at the front or side of the mobile toilet and can be connected to a small forklift, tractor, or pickup truck for short-distance transportation. When towing, control the speed (recommended not exceeding 5km/h) and ensure the hook is securely attached to prevent detachment due to sudden braking or bumps. Additionally, check that the wheels rotate freely before towing to avoid difficulty in movement caused by locked steering.

If the mobile toilet has neither a lifting hook nor forklift slots or wheels, contact the manufacturer to customize a mobile support frame or adopt temporary reinforcement measures (such as bundling with steel cables and lifting with hoisting equipment). However, ensure operations comply with safety regulations to avoid structural deformation or tipping risks.
