Mobile Toilet Without Flushing Function
There are indeed types of mobile toilets that do not have a flushing function, namely waterless sanitary toilets, also known as sewerless sanitary toilets. These toilets use physical, biological, or chemical technologies to replace the water-flushing function and achieve effective treatment of waste.

The core principle of waterless toilets lies in the use of non-water-flushing technologies to treat excreta. For example, some waterless toilets are equipped with composite microbial communities inside. These microbial communities can operate stably even at low temperatures of 40°C, converting excreta into harmless substances through biodegradation. This technology not only reduces water consumption but also avoids the sewage discharge problems caused by traditional toilet flushing.
Waterless toilets come in various types with different technological principles. Among them, microbial degradation technology is a common and efficient method. It does not require water for flushing and does not rely on complex pipe networks. Instead, it converts fecal waste into harmless organic fertilizer through the action of microorganisms. This technology is not only environmentally friendly but also enables the recycling of resources. In addition to microbial degradation technology, waterless toilets also include mechanical packing, foam sealing, vacuum suction, and chemical agent types, among others. Mechanical packing toilets use mechanical devices to pack and seal excreta to prevent odor diffusion; foam sealing toilets use foam to cover the surface of excreta, isolating air and inhibiting bacterial growth; vacuum suction toilets use the negative pressure generated by a vacuum pump to suck excreta into a collection container; chemical agent toilets use chemical agents to decompose excreta for harmless treatment.
Waterless toilets have a wide range of application scenarios. They are particularly suitable for areas with scarce water resources, temporary event venues, or situations requiring rapid deployment. Since they do not require connection to sewers, the installation and relocation of waterless toilets are more convenient, greatly improving usage efficiency. At the same time, their environmentally friendly and energy-saving characteristics align with the sustainable development concept of modern society.
