Mobile Toilet with Insulation Cotton

Quản trị 01 tháng 10, 2026

Adding insulation cotton to mobile toilets is an important measure to enhance their winter freeze resistance, with application areas and effects as follows:

1. Wall Insulation: Composite Structure + Filling Material

Wall insulation for mobile toilets typically employs a composite structure. For example, Jiahe mobile toilets, used in extremely cold environments in Mongolia, utilize metal carved panels as the outer material, with fire-resistant insulation rock wool filled in the middle to form an efficient thermal insulation layer. Rock wool has a low thermal conductivity, effectively blocking the intrusion of cold outside air. Additionally, it is recommended to add a 5cm-thick insulation foam board inside the wall to further enhance insulation. This multi-layer composite structure can significantly reduce indoor heat loss and maintain a stable internal toilet temperature.

2. Pipe Insulation: Wrapping with Anti-Freeze Layers

Drainage pipes are a critical area for freeze prevention in mobile toilets. In freeze prevention plans for mobile toilets in northern scenic spots, drainage pipes are wrapped with a 50mm-thick insulation layer, typically made of rubber-plastic sponge or glass wool. Their closed-cell structure reduces heat conduction and prevents the freezing of liquids inside the pipes. The trap of the squat toilet is filled with expanded perlite around it, forming a three-dimensional insulation system to avoid freezing of stored water due to local low temperatures. Water supply pipes, flush tanks, and storage tanks also need to be wrapped with insulation cotton to ensure that the stored water remains liquid under extreme low temperatures.

3. Working Principle of Insulation Cotton

The core function of insulation cotton is to reduce heat conduction. Its materials (such as rock wool and rubber-plastic sponge) contain a large amount of still air inside, which has an extremely low thermal conductivity and can effectively block heat transfer. In mobile toilets, insulation cotton forms a continuous insulation layer by wrapping pipes and filling wall cavities, reducing heat loss caused by temperature differences between the indoors and outdoors. Additionally, insulation cotton also has fire-resistant and moisture-proof properties, extending the service life of the equipment.

4. Practical Application Effects

In the extremely cold winter environment of Mongolia, Jiahe mobile toilets have successfully maintained indoor temperatures and avoided pipe freezing and equipment damage through the aforementioned insulation measures. Practices in northern scenic spots also show that a three-dimensional insulation system can significantly reduce the failure rate of mobile toilets and lower winter maintenance costs. These cases prove that the application of insulation cotton is an effective solution for mobile toilets to adapt to low-temperature environments.

Summary: Adding insulation cotton to mobile toilets requires taking composite insulation measures for key areas such as walls and pipes, enhancing freeze resistance by blocking heat conduction and filling cavities. Reasonable selection of insulation materials (such as rock wool and rubber-plastic sponge) and ensuring proper construction practices can ensure the normal operation of mobile toilets under extreme low temperatures.
