Mobile Toilet Waterproof Construction Process

Quản trị 08 tháng 10, 2026

The mobile toilet waterproof construction process can refer to the following steps:

I. Clean the Base Layer
Before construction, thoroughly clean the ground and the areas around the pipes to ensure there is no dust, oil, debris, or other residues. Pay special attention to cleaning the grooves at the pipe openings to prevent residues from affecting the bonding effect between the waterproof layer and the base layer. Cleaning the base layer is the foundation of waterproof construction; if there are impurities, it may lead to cracking or leakage of the waterproof layer.

II. Base Layer Treatment

  1. Elevation Verification: Focus on checking the elevation position of the floor drain to ensure the drainage slope meets the design requirements and avoid water accumulation issues.
  2. Pipe Root Treatment: Check the tightness of the wall holes at the roots of the floor drain and pipes; the wall holes need to be filled tightly. During the construction of the leveling layer, the pipe roots need to be caulked according to specifications to prevent the gaps from becoming leakage channels.
  3. Internal and External Corner Treatment: The internal and external corners need to be rounded to reduce the risk of cracking caused by stress concentration.
  4. Groove Repair: The water pipes with grooves should be smoothed with cement mortar, and uneven areas on the ground or walls should be repaired to be flat to ensure uniform coverage of the waterproof layer.

III. Waterproof Treatment of Key Areas

  1. Water Pipe Groove Treatment: After smoothing, the water pipe grooves should be painted with a leak-stopping agent once to enhance anti-seepage capability.
  2. Grooves at Pipe Openings: Apply waterproof materials to the grooves at the pipe openings to form the first waterproof barrier.
  3. Reinforcement of Leak-Prone Points: Areas such as wall corners and pipe openings should be treated with waterproof coatings or sealants to ensure no omissions.

IV. Application of Waterproof Coatings

  1. Ground Waterproofing: Apply the waterproof coating evenly to avoid uneven thickness that may lead to local leakage. The application direction can be crossed to ensure complete coverage.
  2. Wall Waterproofing: Determine the application height according to needs (e.g., above 1.8 meters in shower areas) to ensure that water will not penetrate into the wall during long-term use.

V. Laying of Waterproof Membranes (if required)
If the design requires the laying of waterproof membranes, it should be carried out after the waterproof coating has dried. During membrane laying, it should be closely adhered to the base layer, with air bubbles and wrinkles removed. The edges should be sealed with special adhesives to ensure the overall waterproof effect.

VI. Closed Water Test
After the waterproof construction is completed, a 24-hour closed water test should be conducted. Fill the mobile toilet with water to a certain height, observe whether the water level drops, and check the walls and ground for any signs of leakage. If leakage is found, it should be repaired immediately and the test should be repeated until it passes.
