Mobile Toilet Water Tank Capacity

Quản trị 05 tháng 10, 2026

The water tank capacity of mobile toilets varies depending on their type and design, with common capacities ranging from 10 to 500 liters. They can be categorized into the following three types:

1. Portable Toilets (Simple Type)
These toilets are typically used for temporary events or construction sites, with a design focus on being lightweight and easy to move. Their small water storage tanks generally have a capacity of 10 to 20 liters, primarily used for storing flushing water. Due to their simple structure, sewage is usually discharged directly into external containers or onto the ground, so they are not equipped with sewage tanks. The water-saving design of these toilets makes them suitable for short-term use, but they require frequent replenishment of clean water.

2. High-End Portable Restrooms (Integrated Type)
For long-term use or scenarios with high hygiene requirements, such as tourist attractions or large events, high-end portable restrooms employ more complex water supply systems. Their freshwater tanks can have a capacity of 100 to 300 liters, while their sewage tanks have a capacity of 200 to 500 liters. This design reduces maintenance frequency by increasing tank capacity, while also being equipped with circulation filtration or chemical treatment devices to extend sewage storage time. Some models also support external water sources or sewage pipes, further enhancing their practicality.

3. Portable Toilets (Family/Vehicle-Mounted Type)
Portable toilets are primarily designed for personal or family use, emphasizing portability and sealing. Their freshwater tanks typically have a capacity of 10 liters for flushing, while their wastewater tanks have a capacity of approximately 12 liters for collecting excrement and sewage. These products often feature a sealed design to prevent odor diffusion, making them suitable for outdoor travel, camping, or places without fixed sanitation facilities. After use, the freshwater tank and wastewater tank need to be manually separated for cleaning.

Summary: The choice of water tank capacity for mobile toilets should be based on the usage scenario and requirements. Simple portable toilets are suitable for short-term, low-frequency use; high-end integrated restrooms meet long-term, high-traffic needs; while portable toilets balance personal convenience and environmental friendliness. When purchasing, it is recommended to comprehensively evaluate based on actual water consumption, maintenance conditions, and budget to ensure that the equipment's functionality matches the usage scenario.
