How to Supply Water to Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 19 tháng 10, 2026

The water supply methods for mobile toilets vary depending on their types, mainly including the following situations:

Water-flush and Non-water-flush Suction Types

Water-flush mobile toilets are equipped with water-flush devices inside, and the water tanks are usually placed on top of the toilets. There are two common ways to add water:

  • Adding water via a dedicated water tank: A dedicated water tank is set up inside the mobile toilet. When water needs to be added, first use a water delivery truck to fill a hose with water, and then connect the hose to the water tank. Through this method, water is introduced into the toilet's water tank to meet the flushing needs.
  • Drawing water from a tap water pipeline: If there is a tap water pipeline near the location of the mobile toilet, a hose can be directly connected to the toilet's water supply system to draw water from the tap water pipeline and provide flushing water for the toilet. This method is relatively convenient, but it is necessary to ensure that there is a suitable tap water pipeline connection nearby.

Recirculating Water-flush Type

Recirculating water-flush mobile toilets are equipped with intermittent aerobic and anaerobic treatment devices for fecal sewage, and biological strains are added, using biofilm technology. This technology can accelerate the fermentation and decomposition of fecal sewage, and then through a filtration device, the treated fecal sewage is recirculated for flushing the toilet fixtures. This water supply method not only saves water resources but also reduces dependence on external water sources, making it suitable for use in places with relatively scarce water resources or high environmental protection requirements.

Impact of Flushing Methods on Water Supply

Different types of flushing methods also affect the operation and user experience of water supply to a certain extent:

  • Button-type: In mobile public toilets, the flushing buttons are usually marked with eye-catching text or icons, and some public toilets are also equipped with large and small flushing buttons. When in use, just press the button lightly, and water will flush out. This flushing method is simple and direct, and the main requirement for the water supply system is to ensure that the water tank has a sufficient water supply.
  • Sensor-type: Sensor-based flushing is triggered by infrared or human body sensors. When using it, bring your hand or part of your body close to the sensor area, and water will automatically flush out. This flushing method requires a stable water supply system to ensure timely water supply when the sensor is triggered.
  • Other methods: For example, smart toilets are equipped with an automatic flushing function when the user leaves the seat, and the toilet will automatically flush after the user gets up. There is also a kick-type flushing method, where a sensor area is set on the outside of the toilet, and a light kick can trigger the flushing. These advanced flushing technologies also rely on a stable water supply system to ensure normal flushing.
