Fixation of Water Heaters in Mobile Toilets
The following methods can be referred to for fixing water heaters in mobile toilets, and the choice should be made based on the wall structure and actual needs:

1. Back-mounted Accessories and Hook Fixation
This method is suitable for solid walls (such as concrete and brick walls). When installing, metal hooks need to be fixed on the wall in advance, and the spacing between the hooks should be adjusted according to the model of the water heater (for example, some models have a spacing of 21 centimeters). Fully engage the metal accessories on the back of the water heater with the hooks to ensure there is no shaking after installation. This method is simple to operate, but it is necessary to ensure that the wall has sufficient strength to prevent the hooks from falling off.
2. Embedded Bracket Fixation
If the wall is a plastered layer or requires the bracket to be hidden (such as a tiled wall), a finished bracket can be embedded during the decoration stage. The specific steps are as follows:
- Fix the bracket inside or on the surface of the wall (such as by concrete pouring);
- Cover the bracket with tiles when tiling, leaving only the accessory part exposed;
- Use the accessories to fix the water heater directly during installation. This method has strong aesthetics, but it requires advance planning and ensures that the bracket is firmly connected to the wall.
3. Suspension Fixation
For lightweight walls (such as hollow bricks, aerated blocks, and other structures with weak load-bearing capacity), a metal hanger can be used to suspend the water heater on the ceiling (reinforced concrete structure). Note the following:
- The connection between the hanger and the ceiling must be firm, and it is recommended to use expansion bolts for fixation;
- Reserve maintenance space (such as gaps at the top) for easy later maintenance;
- Avoid installation on non-load-bearing ceilings (such as gypsum board ceilings) to prevent the risk of collapse.
4. Finished Bracket Combination Fixation
If the space in the mobile toilet is limited or other equipment needs to be placed simultaneously (such as a washing machine), a ground-mounted finished bracket combination can be used for fixation. Specifically:
- Install the bracket on the ground, with space reserved inside for placing equipment;
- Place the water heater on the top to ensure that the bracket structure is stable;
- It is necessary to confirm in advance that the ground load-bearing capacity meets the requirements to prevent bracket deformation.
Precautions
- Reinforcement of lightweight walls: If a bracket is used for fixation, anti-slip pads or expansion bolts should be added at the contact surface between the bracket and the wall to prevent the water heater from falling.
- Maintenance gaps: When installing, reserve at least 30 centimeters of space (such as in corners or above shower rooms) for easy later maintenance.
- Selection of connecting pipes: Avoid using inferior hoses to connect the water heater and the water source to prevent hose bursting, which may cause water leakage or safety hazards.
