How to Use and Maintain Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 09 tháng 10, 2026

The use and maintenance of mobile toilets should follow scientific standards, with specific methods as follows:

Usage Guidelines

  1. Operation Method: After opening and closing the toilet door tightly, you can choose the seat cushion or squat/sit mode according to your needs.
  2. Item Disposal: It is strictly prohibited to dispose of non-degradable items such as wet wipes and plastic bags into the toilet bowl. These items can easily clog the sewage system, leading to equipment failure.
  3. Usage Time: The duration of each use should be reasonably controlled to avoid rapid filling of the waste storage tank due to concentrated use by multiple people in a short period, which would affect subsequent use.
  4. Environmental Management: In high-temperature or enclosed environments, ventilation should be enhanced (e.g., by turning on fans or vents) to reduce odor accumulation. If deployed outdoors, choose flat and hard ground, away from water source protection areas and low-lying flood-prone areas. Before use, check the sealing of the wastewater tank to prevent sewage leakage.

Maintenance Points

  1. Daily Maintenance

    • Cleaning Frequency: Conduct a comprehensive cleaning every 200-300 uses or every 3-5 days, adjusting the cycle based on usage intensity.
    • Seal Inspection: Regularly inspect the seals and pipe connections for leaks to prevent sewage overflow and environmental pollution.
    • Multi-dimensional Inspection: Cover the exterior (no loose door body, flexible door lock, clean door curtain), toilet area (no cracks, stable toilet seat), floor (no standing water, unobstructed drain), ventilation and lighting (normal fan operation, available emergency lighting), consumables (sufficient garbage bags and tissues), safety signs (intact fire-fighting equipment, clear chemical labels), etc. Non-compliant items should be rectified immediately, with the responsible person and completion time recorded.
  2. Cleaning and Disinfection Process

    • Preparation Stage: Wear gloves and masks, prepare cleaning agents, disinfectants, rags, and other tools, ensuring good ventilation at the site and avoiding work under direct sunlight at high temperatures.
    • Cleaning Sequence: First, remove garbage and dust, then clean the toilet bowl, lid, and door handle, and finally rinse the floor. It is prohibited to directly flush cleaning agents into the sewage outlet to prevent pipe corrosion.
    • Disinfection Enhancement: Dilute the disinfectant according to the product label, cover all contact surfaces, and leave it for sufficient time to kill germs. High-frequency contact areas such as door handles and handrails should be disinfected more frequently.
    • Drying Treatment: After cleaning, rinse thoroughly to remove residues and keep the floor dry to reduce the risk of slipping.
    • Odor Control: Control odors through regular ventilation, the use of low-irritant deodorants, or activated carbon filtration.
  3. Long-term Storage: Before storage, empty the waste storage tank and dry it to prevent residual substances from corroding the internal equipment.

  4. Maintenance Cycle: Conduct in-depth maintenance every 3-6 months, including cleaning the wastewater tank, unclogging pipes, tightening components, etc., to ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment.
