Introduction to Mobile Toilet Types

Quản trị 21 tháng 9, 2026

Mobile toilets can be classified based on material, mobility method, sewage treatment method, and usage scenario, as detailed below:

In terms of material, common types include plastic toilets, color-steel toilets, fiberglass-reinforced plastic toilets, and tent-style toilets. Plastic toilets are lightweight and cost-effective, suitable for temporary sites like construction areas. Color-steel toilets offer thermal and acoustic insulation, with an attractive appearance, often used in public areas such as parks and streets. Fiberglass-reinforced plastic toilets are molded as a whole, highly impact-resistant, and suitable for extreme environments like disaster relief. Tent-style toilets are easy to assemble and disassemble, resembling tent structures, ideal for temporary events or emergency scenarios. Additionally, mobile environmental toilets processed from color-steel/metal carved panels come in various sizes (e.g., 1.3×1.3×2.35 meters), with a temperature range of -35℃ to 100℃ and a voltage of 220V, meeting different climatic needs.

Regarding mobility, they are mainly divided into hoisting-type and towing-type. Hoisting-type toilets require cranes for transportation, suitable for long-term use at fixed sites like construction areas. Towing-type toilets come with wheels and can be towed, ideal for highly mobile events like music festivals and large exhibitions.

Sewage treatment method is a core classification criterion for mobile toilets. Waterless packing toilets collect waste in sealed bags, requiring no water source, suitable for water-scarce areas like deserts and plateaus. Traditional water-flush toilets need to be connected to sewage pipes, relying on an adequate water supply, commonly found in scenic spots and urban public areas. Foam-sealing toilets use foam to cover waste surfaces, suppressing odors and reducing water consumption, with outstanding environmental performance. Microbial degradation toilets decompose waste through microorganisms, converting it into organic fertilizer, suitable for eco-parks and farms with high environmental requirements.

Based on usage scenario, mobile toilets can be categorized as scenic spot toilets, construction site toilets, temporary event toilets, and elderly-friendly toilets. Scenic spot toilets are often designed to resemble wooden cabins, equipped with sinks to enhance visitor experience. Construction site toilets are mostly made of iron sheets with direct drainage pipes, focusing on practicality. Temporary event toilets for events like air shows emphasize rapid deployment, with some models equipped with LED lights and capable of being set up within an hour. Elderly-friendly toilets feature barrier-free signs, handrails, and sit-down toilets, reflecting a human-centered design.
