Mobile Toilet Tile Repair Tutorial
Quản trị 05 tháng 10, 2026
Tile repair in mobile toilets requires targeted measures based on different conditions such as cracks, unevenness, and breakage. Here is a detailed tutorial:

I. Tile Crack Repair
- Minor Cracks: After confirming that the tile is not loose, use a filler directly to fill the crack. This operation is simple and cost-effective.
- Moderate Cracks (2-5mm): After cleaning the crack, mix white cement or waterproof adhesive with water to form a paste and fill it into the crack, pressing and smoothing it out. After drying, sand it flat. If necessary, apply a primer and paint of the same color to cover it, ensuring aesthetics and waterproofing.
- Severe Cracks or Breakage: The tile needs to be replaced. Use a hammer and chisel to break the damaged tile, remove the residual cement, apply tile adhesive to the wall base, lay the new tile and adjust it to be flat; after the adhesive dries, use filler to treat the joints to prevent water seepage.
- Structural Cracks (Accompanied by Wall Deformation): Use elastic putty for filling or pressure grouting (inject adhesive with an air compressor). After repair, reinforce with Dacron cloth or steel wire mesh to prevent the recurrence of cracks.
II. Tile Unevenness Repair
- A Small Number of Uneven Tiles: Sand off the adhesive layer between the original tile and the base surface, apply adhesive to the bottom of the tile and re-stick it, ensuring it is completely dry before use.
- Multiple Uneven Tiles: Clean the gaps around the problematic tiles, fill them with filler and scrape off the excess material, and they can be used after drying.
- An Entire Tile is Uneven: Without removing the old tile, place a tile spacer of the appropriate size under the uneven part and then lay the new tile. This is simple and does not require re-laying.
III. Tile Breakage Repair
- Clean the Debris: Use a towel or brush to clean the fragments of the damaged tile to avoid scratching the surrounding tiles.
- Select Repair Materials:
- Tile Adhesive: Suitable for small pits or cracks. Apply evenly and wait for it to dry.
- Glass Glue: Used for edge cracking. After application, sand it smooth.
- Repair Agent: Suitable for large-area deep breakage. Clean the surface and then apply and sand it.
- Repair and Fix: After evenly applying the material, press the tile to ensure a tight bond.
- Sand Smooth: Use sanding equipment or sandpaper to treat the repaired area to make the surface flat.
Precautions: Pay attention to safety before repair to avoid scratches; wait at least 24 hours for drying after repair; for serious problems (such as pipe compression), contact professional personnel for repair.
