Fixation of Mobile Toilet Tents
The fixation method for mobile toilet tents should be selected based on the specific scenario. There are two common methods as follows:

I. Fixation Method for Campgrounds
In regular campgrounds or flat and open areas, it is recommended to use four ground stakes for fixation. During the specific operation, insert the ground stakes at a 45-degree angle into the fixing rings or dedicated anchor points at the bottom of the tent to ensure tight contact with the ground. If the ground is soft soil, you can water the soil first to enhance friction. For hard ground, choose ground stakes with spiral patterns or use auxiliary tools (such as hammers) to increase the insertion depth. Small tents with hollow bottoms require special attention to the even distribution of ground stakes to prevent tent tilting due to insufficient local force. Additionally, you can use guy ropes for further reinforcement: attach one end of the guy rope to the fixing points on the top or sides of the tent, and the other end, after being pulled tight, to the ground stakes or surrounding fixed objects (such as trees or rocks) to form a multi-angle support structure that effectively resists strong winds.
II. Fixation Method for Remote Wilderness Campgrounds
In very remote wilderness campgrounds with low foot traffic, if the ground conditions are complex (such as sandy or gravelly ground) or long-term use is required, the pit-digging fixation method can be adopted. The specific steps are as follows:
- Dig the pit: According to the size of the tent, dig a rectangular pit with a depth of about 30-50 centimeters. Trim the pit walls to be flat to avoid abrasion to the bottom of the tent.
- Fix the tent: Place the bottom of the tent against the pit, ensuring that the hollow part is aligned with the pit. Use ground stakes or heavy objects (such as stones) to fix the four corners of the tent.
- Cover treatment: Pile the excavated soil around the tent to form a windbreak wall, or cover it on the bottom edge of the tent to increase stability.
- Restore after breaking camp: After use, fill the pit and restore it to its original state to avoid damaging the environment.
Precautions:
- Before fixation, check whether the ground is flat and remove sharp objects or obstacles.
- In extreme weather conditions (such as heavy rain or strong winds), increase the number of fixing points or use thicker ground stakes.
- Regularly check the tightness of the ground stakes and guy ropes and adjust the loose parts in a timely manner.
