What are the Specifications of Mobile Toilets?

Quản trị 11 tháng 10, 2026

The specifications of mobile toilets are designed according to usage scenarios and functional requirements, with common standard dimensions as follows:

I. Single-unit Mobile Restrooms The length ranges from 1.2 to 1.5 meters, the width from 1.0 to 1.2 meters, and the height from 2.2 to 2.5 meters, suitable for construction sites, small events, and other scenarios. Common specifications on the market include:

  • Standard single-person model: 110 cm in length, 110 cm in width, and 230 cm in height, meeting basic usage needs;
  • Mini single-person model: 100 cm in length, 100 cm in width, and 220 cm in height, suitable for temporary locations with limited space. The design must ensure that the toilet stall width is no less than 0.9 meters to meet ergonomic requirements, while the recommended height for the sink is 0.8 to 0.9 meters, convenient for people of different heights.

II. Double-unit Mobile Restrooms The length ranges from 2.4 to 3.0 meters, the width from 1.2 to 1.5 meters, and the height from 2.2 to 2.5 meters, suitable for large events, tourist attractions, and other scenarios requiring simultaneous accommodation of multiple people. The typical specification is the double-person model: 180 cm in length, 110 cm in width, and 230 cm in height, improving usage efficiency by increasing the number of toilet stalls while maintaining spatial rationality.

III. Multi-functional Mobile Restrooms The length ranges from 3.0 to 4.5 meters, the width from 2.0 to 2.5 meters, and the height from 2.5 to 3.0 meters, suitable for high-end events, long-term fixed locations, and other scenarios. These restrooms typically integrate more functional modules, such as barrier-free facilities and independent sinks. The barrier-free models are larger, generally 180 cm in length, 150 cm in width, and 240 cm in height, reserving space for wheelchair rotation to ensure convenience for disabled individuals.

Design Specifications and Standards All mobile toilet designs must comply with the relevant provisions of the 'Urban Public Toilet Design Standard' (CJJ 14-2016), including but not limited to:

  • The toilet stall width must be no less than 0.9 meters to ensure user activity space;
  • The sink height must be between 0.8 and 0.9 meters to accommodate different user needs;
  • The height design must balance ventilation and privacy to avoid a sense of spatial oppression. Actual specifications may vary slightly depending on the manufacturer's production standards or customization requirements, but functionality and safety must always be the core principles.
