Mobile Toilet Space Design

Quản trị 21 tháng 9, 2026

The space design ideas for mobile toilets are diverse, mainly including individual creative design, hotel-style design, and public mobile toilet design.

Individual creative design emphasizes flexibility and practicality. For example, a young man used a water storage tank to create a movable toilet. He split the tank in half, fixed universal wheels on wooden boards for easy movement, used wooden strips to increase height, opened a side opening, and installed door frames, walls, and a roof. He also designed a drainage system, shower facilities, and a toilet. This design reasonably planned the internal space, made full use of existing materials, and achieved mobility convenience while meeting basic usage functions. It is suitable for personal or small-scale usage scenarios, such as outdoor camping and temporary residences, and can be flexibly adjusted and arranged according to actual needs.

Hotel-style design emphasizes efficient space utilization and functional switching. Taking a Danish hotel as an example, it adopts a "movable" design. The seemingly ordinary sink and mirror have a circular hole in the middle of the sink basin, with a faucet connected to a pipe and a lock on the side wall. When a shower is needed, the sink can slide along the track to reveal a hidden shower cubicle, with the showerhead sharing the water supply and drainage system with the sink. By moving the wall, the functions of washing and showering are switched, meeting multiple usage needs within a limited space, improving space utilization, and providing an efficient space solution for hotels and other venues.

Public mobile toilet design focuses on meeting the usage needs and hygiene standards of a large number of people. A common layout includes four squatting positions and a management room, with steps set one meter away. The interior is fully equipped with ceramic squatting pans, flush tanks, exhaust fans, ceiling lights, and urinals, ensuring usage convenience and hygiene conditions. There is also a simple and stylish design with an overall off-white exterior wall and orange curtain walls, with three male and female toilet stalls each inside. While meeting basic functions, it pays attention to aesthetic appearance and is suitable for public places such as parks and squares, providing a comfortable and convenient toilet environment for the public.
