Mobile Toilet Sink Replacement
Quản trị 22 tháng 9, 2026
The replacement of a mobile toilet sink can be carried out in three steps: removing the old sink, installing the new sink, and conducting water testing and finalizing the work.

Removing the Old Sink
- Turn off the water supply and drain: First, turn off the water supply to prevent residual water in the pipes from affecting the replacement process. Then, drain the water from the old sink to avoid splashing during disassembly and contaminating the bathroom.
- Handle integrated sinks: If it is a semi-recessed integrated sink, use tools to cut the adhesive in the original seams.
- Remove fixed components: Use a wrench or screwdriver to remove the screws or brackets that secure the sink and store the screws and nuts properly.
- Remove accessories: Remove accessories such as the faucet, drainpipe, and overflow hole from the old sink. Be careful not to damage the pipes or block the drain. If you do not want to replace the drainpipe and hardware, remove these components separately.
- Clean residual adhesive: After removing the sink, clean the residual adhesive on the wall.
Installing the New Sink
- Preparation and inspection: Prepare the new sink and its配套 (matching) accessories, and check that all components are complete, such as the faucet and drainpipe.
- Secure the sink: Align the new sink with the wall and secure it with brackets or bolts, ensuring that the sink is level to prevent shaking or water leakage.
- Install auxiliary equipment:
- Faucet installation: If replacing the hardware, first install the faucet and drain on the new sink. There are two holes in the sink for the water pipes. Place washers and insert the two water pipes through the holes. Bring them up through the faucet holes, then place the upper washers and decorative rings. Connect the two water pipes to the faucet, tighten the holes inside, corresponding to hot and cold water respectively, and secure the faucet tightly on the back.
- Drainpipe installation: Wrap some Teflon tape around the threads of the drainpipe. Insert the flat part into the hole from above, place the retaining ring on the back first, and tighten the lower connector.
- Connect pipes: Properly connect the pipes and add sealing washers to prevent water leakage.
Water Testing and Finalizing
- Connect the drain: Connect the drainpipe to the drain outlet, ensuring that the hot and cold water pipes are not reversed.
- Water testing: Conduct a water test to check for leaks. Address any issues promptly if found.
- Seal and finalize: After the water test is successful, apply glass adhesive in the gaps between the countertop and the sink to prevent water from flowing down the wall.
In addition, be careful during disassembly and assembly to avoid damaging the water pipes and walls. Install according to the drawings or instructions, correctly install all auxiliary equipment and pipes, and check for loose or insecure connections during installation.
