Mobile Toilet Sign

Quản trị 20 tháng 9, 2026

Currently, there is no unified or specific exclusive sign for mobile toilets. They usually use general signs similar to those of ordinary toilets or are designed according to actual situations.

General Signs

In most scenarios, mobile toilets adopt the same general signs as fixed toilets to indicate their functions. For example, common signs for men's and women's toilets are used. The men's toilet generally features a blue background with a white male figure, while the women's toilet has a pink background with a white female figure. These signs are simple and intuitive, enabling users to quickly identify the gender distinction of the toilets and facilitating people in finding the appropriate toilet for their use. Additionally, some accessible mobile toilets use internationally recognized accessible signs, which consist of a white wheelchair figure on a blue or green background, to indicate that these mobile toilets are specifically designed for people with disabilities, the elderly, and others with mobility issues, and are equipped with corresponding accessible facilities such as accessible ramps and handrails.

Special Designs

Some mobile toilets undergo unique sign designs based on their usage scenarios, themes, or design concepts. For instance, in theme parks or characteristic scenic spots, the signs of mobile toilets may align with the theme of the scenic area. If the scenic area has an ocean theme, the signs of mobile toilets may be designed in the shapes of marine organisms, such as using a shell shape to represent the women's toilet and a dolphin shape to represent the men's toilet. This not only serves an indicative purpose but also enhances the overall atmosphere and fun of the scenic area. Moreover, for temporary outdoor events like music festivals and sports events, the signs of mobile toilets may be designed in combination with the event's logo or elements, making the signs more event-specific and facilitating people in quickly locating the mobile toilets at the event site.

Variable Signs

In some scenic spots in Guangdong, such as tidal toilets, there are cases where the men's and women's signs can be manually changed. Although this is not a common phenomenon, it provides a flexible design idea for mobile toilet signs. In places with large fluctuations in pedestrian traffic and an unfixed ratio of male to female users, the signs of mobile toilets can be adjusted according to actual usage to improve the efficiency of toilet use.
