Mobile Toilet Setup Plan
Quản trị 13 tháng 10, 2026
The setup of mobile toilets should be tailored to the usage scenario (construction sites, outdoors, urban areas), with key considerations including site selection, structure, technology, and maintenance design, as detailed below:

I. Mobile Toilet Setup Plan for Construction Sites
- Site Selection and Layout: Prioritize placement on the inner side of the living area, 30-50 meters away from dormitories and canteens, avoiding prevailing summer winds and office/residential areas. Ensure there are no underground cables, gas pipelines, or main water supply lines.
- Foundation Treatment: After clearing surface debris, compact the base soil (compaction degree ≥ 90%), pour a 10-15 cm C20 concrete cushion (extending 30 cm beyond the toilet base on each side), and reserve a 2%-3% drainage slope on the surface pointing towards the sewage outlet collection ditch.
- Main Structure: Utilize an integrated steel frame structure with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) wall panels or color-steel sandwich panels (fire rating A). Each unit measures 1.2m × 1.2m × 2.4m (internal clear height ≥ 2m), installed and leveled using cranes/forklifts.
II. Mobile Toilet Setup Plan for Outdoor Use
- Portable Toilets: Suitable for self-driving camping, consisting of a seat, frame, and detachable waste bucket/bag, with some models equipped with privacy tents.
- Disposable Emergency Bags: Ideal for hiking backpackers, containing coagulants/degradants, sealed and discarded after use.
- Simple Pit Toilets: Limited to wilderness camping, located far from water sources, campsites, and trails, with a 15-20 cm shallow pit dug and excreta buried after use.
- Small Folding Toilets: Lightweight metal/plastic frames unfold into toilet seats, with collection bags placed underneath, combining comfort and convenience.
III. Mobile Toilet Setup Plan for Urban Areas (Taking Shanghai as an Example)
- Site Selection Logic: Based on pedestrian heat maps, event plans, and other data, deploy points in a tiered manner using a 'plug-and-play' model, ensuring accessibility within a 5-minute walk without disrupting main road landscapes.
- Technological Upgrades: Apply microbial degradation or packaged + vacuum suction technologies to reduce collection frequency, equipped with standard intelligent components (such as 'occupied/unoccupied' screens, automatic deodorization systems).
- Design Details: Include one-touch emergency buttons and anti-collision rounded corners for special groups; adopt an 'upward supply, downward exhaust' airflow organization to remove odors; modularize the appearance to reduce visual intrusion.
- Maintenance System: Increase collection frequency to 1-2 hours per session during peak hours, collaborate with sanitation and urban management departments to ensure efficient maintenance.
