Practical Guide to Mobile Toilet Rental
Quản trị 05 tháng 10, 2026
Renting mobile toilets requires comprehensive consideration from five aspects: selection, price, installation, usage management, and division of responsibilities to ensure they are suitable for the scenario and operate efficiently and safely.

I. Selection Criteria
- Capacity Fit: Determine the number of toilets based on the number of users, adding a 20% reserve during peak construction periods. For example, for single-person use on construction sites, 1-2 person units can be selected; for multi-person scenarios, double-unit models are recommended; for events with thousands of participants (such as marathons), 10-20 pit connected toilets are needed.
- Material and Structure: Prioritize stainless steel or thickened plastic shells that are waterproof, sun-resistant, and have a long lifespan (3-5 years). Internally, they should be equipped with non-slip floors, independent flushing systems, and, in winter, models with insulation functions can be chosen.
- Functional Configuration: Select barrier-free facilities (such as handrails, non-slip pedals), female-only compartments, or ventilation and deodorization devices according to needs.
II. Rental Prices and Services
- Price Composition: The cost includes transportation, installation, and maintenance, charged per day at 100-500 yuan per unit (basic color steel plate toilets cost 300-500 yuan per day, simple models cost 100-300 yuan per unit). Monthly rentals enjoy a 20% discount, and a deposit of 20%-30% of the total equipment price is required, refundable upon undamaged return.
- Service Response: Choose suppliers with local warehouses for delivery within 24 hours in Xinyu's urban area; large projects require a 7-day advance reservation; in emergencies (such as with Sentai Sanitation Company), additional toilets can be dispatched within half an hour.
- Compliance: Confirm that the rental party holds an Environmental Sanitation License and that the toilets comply with the Urban Public Toilet Design Standard (CJJ14-2016).
III. Installation Points
- Site Selection: Choose a flat location with good drainage, harden the ground, and set up drainage ditches; on construction sites, it should be within 50 meters of the construction area and away from living areas; for outdoor events, if the ground is soft (such as grass),铺垫 (lay) gravel or wooden boards in advance.
- Foundation Installation: The foundation should be 15-20 centimeters above the ground (for winter freeze protection); for outdoor events, concrete blocks or counterweights can be driven in; exposed drainage pipes should be wrapped with insulation cotton, and joints sealed.
- Fixing Methods: Use ground anchors (depth exceeding 30 centimeters), windbreak ropes and diagonal pulls (use a "well"-shaped diagonal pull in strong winds), or add counterweights (such as sandbags, water tanks).
IV. Usage and Management
- Daily Maintenance: The rental party needs to clean daily, and construction sites should disinfect twice a week; construction sites should arrange for a dedicated person to record usage and regularly check the flushing system; in winter, check the water tank and pipes for freezing daily.
- Special Scenario Handling: Install freeze-proof valves in winter, drain stored water or add antifreeze; in extreme cold (below -5°C), close non-essential drainage outlets and lay non-slip and freeze-proof mats; reinforce windbreak ropes during rain or wind warnings.
- Emergency Plan: Prepare 1-2 spare toilets; check drainage holes during heavy rain; if the toilet is found to be tilting, stop using it immediately and refix it.
V. Division of Responsibilities
- Lessor: Responsible for equipment freeze protection modifications (in winter), providing instruction manuals, regular maintenance, including installation, cleaning, and waste removal.
- User: Avoid damaging the drainage system, contact for handling if freezing is found; do not dismantle heating devices privately; cooperate with the fixing plan and check if the devices are loose after the event.
